Crazy how we can watch them play this song live in 1975, then click another and see it played in 2004 gastonbury, or whenever. Imagine living a charmed life like this... playing your music for nearly your whole life to adoring fans. Must be great.
Isn't that a curse? They made a masterpiece, now they can't move one. Half a century playing the same songs over and over. Listen they play, on the other hand is a blessing.

This is Wings/ Paul McCartneyst their very best. The Melbourne consert in 1976 was really good (bought it used via Amazon Australia for 4.50 Australian dollars including postage to Norway! It’s just as good as Wings over America ) haven’t bough that yet, is to expensive on DVD, I’ll have to try Australia again) If you manage to Get hold of one of these conserts on DVD, you really don’t nerd to have ant other DVDs/ records by Wings ( I have GOT all official DVDs/ records Wings ever published. The DVD/ record Wingspan is recommended,. IT covers Psuld solo songs/ performanceartisten after th
e Beatles and explainrs how important she was for Paul/ mudically slso. Wings was an underrated band, almost AS good as. The Beatles at their best!. Enjoy!
Yeah, 3rd Wings record? In just 4 years post-Beatles; amazing volume of songwriting talent... just imagine where this (and def 1985 at the end of the LP) would be ranked in the 'best of' lists if a Beatles track...
I was 15 years old in Melbourne at this time, and to be honest Paul McCartney at this point was no longer relevant. Disco had just started rearing its ugly head and Punk was brewing in the UK, which would eventually settle into New Wave on the radio and then records - Paul's best retort was 'Mull of Kintyre'. At 15 I loved The Beatles, but had no interest in Paul's ongoing music anymore. And seriously, does anyone say "Please play 'Spies Like Us' at my funeral" (I suppose it would piss off the people at your funeral that you never got around to saying ...).

Or watching this clip from before you were born, then seeing this live 4 days ago.
and now even Glastonbury 2022
@@pji1979 he still releases and plays new music that’s popular still ya know lol
Needs to be remastered not enough range
Too flat
This song has to be in the greatest top 10 songs of all time
easily
Not really but a truly great song
Stuck inside these four walls.. sent inside forever..never seeing no one.. like you...mamma..like you mamma
Wow!!! I never knew they ended a show with this song. Amazing it is now 50 years old!!
Oh man don't say that
No one will ever outdo this guy!!
Agree, but it's not competitive- great music belongs to us all...
2:03 I love this riff to death.
Hold my beer moment.

RIP Denny Lane.
Was at this concert as a teen where Paul changed the words “rockshow at the Hollywood bowl to rock show at the “myer music bowl “ ..
very, very good
He's only 33 or 34 depending on when this was recorded. Amazing! Beatle days are 5 years past and on his second major band.
Amazing what he had accomplished in his live at the younge age of 33. He’s like a modern day Fredric Chopin

He was born on September 9th, 1937....
not to mention how freaking hard it is to keep a bass line in time while singing……
@@erikhammer153 actually he was born in 1942
Wings are great singers!
Class !
Like4 songs un one. Greatest songs.
Fukn brilliant!!!!
all time hero
And they were searching for ever more.....
Love Wings!

What a great song by Paul McCartney and Wings !!!
happy 80 paul LundX
WOW!
rock and roll
для меня лично, этот альбом высшея 🎯 творчества сера пола....
Paul McCartney is the best musician EVER (by far)
1:23 to 2:01 Pure bliss
RIP Denny Lane
current versions sound quite pronounced compared to this one it seems!
Te amo paul McCartney 🇦🇷
Is this at Myer Music Bowl?
Yes the Melbourne concert was at Myer Music Bowl
i’m sure i see angus young playing here, anybody able to id the guy playing the sg?
Jimmy McCulloch
@@JimmyMcCullochFanthis reply made my day. I even took a screenshot.
ポールはライヴ盤をいくつも出していますが、ウイングスオーバーアメリカが最高かもしれないですね。
yes
The Royals music.
I'm curious. Where did you find this?
Sync is out.....
The original cutie pie
But I like deep waters
Mr. Sir. George Harrison
This guitar style iis like he's missing George...
I always thought this song sounded like he missed John
Audio out of synch
That's very unfortunate, because the energy and the performance is better than the one on the "Wings over America" live album.
Righto
2 thumbs down people must have the ears painted on ...........haha
Paul does not get his due as a fantastic singer.
Jimmy McCulloch!
not as polished as wings over america the following year, but still good
Man on the run 😂
Nowadays the cops would be all over the kids with the sparklers...sad
the sound engineer didn't really seem to do a particularly good job here :D
П
レコードはバックもポールがやったんだろね
That's Billy Frickin Shears man. That's not Paul McCartney.
Billy Shears is a better songwriter than Paul was
This song is not bad and not good
it's amazing
I would say that for the album. This song is one of the better points.
@@alexthompson9516 the whole album is perfect yall are trippin
This is one of my favourite albums honestly

Billy sounds nothing like Paul did
they looked so similiar
maybe because you forgot this thing called aging, anyways just keep believing lies if you want. whether you like it or not he isn't dead
-even with all the facial surgeries, he still looks quite different from the real Paul McCartney
Lol
@@mattwilliam4803 Perhaps excessive cocaine use had contributed to his somewhat haggard appearance.
-in the words.. of Paul's friend, John... "why the long face ??"
Hmmm.... quite right says George
Do you think Paul died. That's worse than believing he didn't surgery which is already bad
What a horrible mix. Linda is buried in the mix...the voices are dry and flat. Awful.
yes quite rough nothing like rockshow
Mimed.
Rubbish
Poor proudtion quality/out of sync. It's not mimed like some 1960s Top of the Pops.
No it's just poor video quality so it's out of sync with the audio. Live shows were live back then
Thats 100% not live Nuff said 😡
It sounds live but the audio isn't synched with the video. Is the video from a different performance than the audio?
@@buckodonnghaile4309 no it's the right video and audio it's just poor so they are out of sync
Definitely live audio out of sync with live video.
