overreaction time. so u put daniels over matthew stafford. what a jerk. u need to build a resume to put somebody in the top 5, not only one year. i am more with simms, about 10. after 2 years still awesome, no slump, yes u might now talk about top 5.
@@dodu8281we need to stop requiring so much time for qbs to prove themselves. he carried the entire offense and took a 4 win team to the nfc championship. he has some of the highest iq, top level qb running threat, extreme poise and accuracy, always makes the right decisions, all while having a great work ethic and should be going to the super bowl if the rest of the team didn’t let him down. he’s changing the game watch his film n you’ll understand. he’s still consistently drove down the field every possession against a number 1 defense in the nfc championship with little amount of weapons and a mediocre line with no run game.
Hurts has the advantage of having the best players, best running back, best offensive/defensive line around him. JD5 makes an average/below average team almost good enough.
Hurts has no redeeming qualities as a QB. Accuracy isn’t great, holds onto the ball far too long and gets away with it due to that insanely good o-line, etc. I don’t blame Philly either because hurts has actually done a better job at protecting the ball this season but that could be because they have an MVP running back.
@@evanbell7825 Jalen Hurts is a winner. That's the only stat that matters. You can have all those individual awards, I'll take Superbowls. No redeeming qualities lol
If JD5 swaps teams with Hurts. Which team is immediately better? Hurts to Washington and JD5 to the Eagles. I believe the Eagles would be in the Superbowl either way because the team is stacked in all phases of the game. JD5 would make the Eagles immediately better. I do not believe Hurts makes Washington immediately better. I don’t believe Washington would have been 12-5 with Hurts.
Non negotiable 4? He is better than Jackson. Top 8 or 9? No disrespect to Simms but you are crazy with that! He is number 2. Mahomes is the only QB definitely above him right now but based on his age and progress this season I would trade him for no one. Jayden is a generational talent and you will slowly come round to this eventually chaps.
Jayden Daniels is so good Carly Simon wrote a song about him. “Nobody Does it Better.” He’s like James Bond except Jayden is cooler. (Alright. I agree with Simms top picks outside of his placement on Lamar. Lamar’s playoff record is pretty bad and he tends to play poorly in January which should be a huge ding against him. But if you look at Jayden’s full skillset he has perhaps the highest ceiling of anyone, at least in potential. Right now Jayden might already be top-5.)
The clear consensus is that he’s gonna have a fantastic career. But, let’s not get too crazy. Last year there was some talk about Stroud being the next big thing, and he regressed. So, let’s see how his second year goes before we crown him best NFC qb just yet.
Such an over reaction to a great rookie season. Last year many were putting Strout there and Hurts a few years ago. Teams study tendencies and there’s still a question mark about Daniels durability, so no, not yet a Top 5 but has potential.
Brock is criminally underrated. Steve Young, who was actually a great quarterback, really likes Brock as Steve should. I think the 49ers keep Purdy. Only question really: at what salary? If Brock had a killer arm - he’s slightly above NFL average - he would be well over 50. But because of that one weakness I think Brock is worth 40 to 50. I won’t be shocked if Purdy signs and gets the top-end of that scale.
I actually think Brock is very much overrated. A great story and talented qb, but I don't think he elevates a roster, on the contrary, he needs great players around him to be successful as evidenced this season. I would't strap myself onto the purdy max contract wagon either if I'm the 49ers.
Here’s what I really think. I think Brock Purdy is underrated and the only ding on him is arm strength. (I think he was clocked at mid-50s, maybe 56. Josh Allen is 62, 64 if he eats his Wheaties.). But Brock could really roll the dice. Play out this year as a lame duck in San Francisco and then - drum roll please! - go to the Vikings. It would require a lot of moving parts though. But Minnesota would be absolutely perfect for Brock, what with Jefferson. Brock is certainly better than Sam Darnold in nearly every way. If Brock played for the Vikings this year and Brock were fully healthy I think the Vikings are at least in the NFC Championship Game. Heck, I think with Brock the Vikings would be a legit Super Bowl threat.
@evanbell7825 stop with the apologizing for the kid. He played like a rookie against a good defense. It doesn't bode well for his confidence in the future to get rattled like he did.
Up until the fourth quarter, Daniels led his team on a scoring drive every time they didn’t fumble-except for the first drive after halftime. "Deer in headlights" 😂
QB, RB, WR, Oline, DLINE, LB, Secondary. Out of those what is the worst on the Eagles? Any answer outside of QB or mayyyybe LBs is just wrong. That's why Hurts doesn't get respect.
After this season I agree he's 5th but I want to see him do it another year. CJ Stroud was the best thing since sliced bread last year too and he didn't play up to that level at all! So based on that I'll put him top 10!
If you are picking teams playground style he is the 5th guy off the board if they are picking QBs. Mahomes, Allen, Burrow and Jackson are literally the only QBs you can argue you take over him and I still argue he is better than Jackson as a passer and if you put JD5 on any of the other playoff team rosters they go to the Super Bowl. Imagine next season when he has a number 2 reciever who you know about before the season starts like Tee Higgins or Deebo and a better defense.
everyone give purdy hate cause of the team hes had but here in jalen hurts whos had better supporting cast and all the time in the world to throw and is looking pretty average. take away his tush punch td and and hes below average

As of right now he’s top 5 100%
Let us build up our O line and defense and will be seeing Jaden against the Goat!
