They said if this is about the flood, you’re not covered and hung up. We come to find later, that we did not have flood insurance. Although at the time we bought our house and the insurance, we purchased the best and most coverage they would allow at the time, it turned out that we were not on a designated flood plain by the government, and we weren’t allowed to purchase flood insurance. I actually responded to an fire department emergency in pa just like this 20 years ago. I felt so bad that i brought my construction crew in and dug it out with skid steer and put up a temporary framed and plywood wall covered in very thick black plastic. It was caused by heavy raines but then switched to heavy snow so by having an insulated wall it saved way more damage. When warm weather came we repoured a new concrete wall instead of using block. It was alot more in detail than what i said but you can save it . It is not a total loss not with the cost of new construction today.
By ALL MEANS: GET A PUBLIC ADJUSTER!!! He will work with a Attorney, If Needed. I do storm repairs / Insurance Claims for 21 years. The Public Adjuster Works For YOU ! You want Public Adjuster's help to work with the Insurance company, because you don't know even though the insurance may "pay", You don't know if it would be the correct amount. The Public Adjuster will help Navigate the claim process! The Insurance generally will try to act like: That is their final word.... BUT IT IS NOT !!! Please, This is Exactly Why There Are Public Adjusters... They Help "The Public", Property Owners! A "Independent Adjuster" Helps Insurance Companies Do NOT Agree, confirm, give consent, to ANY Insurance person as to the claim... What so ever. Let the Public Adjuster Speak On YOUR Behalf. Please I Beg you! I see so many people get taken, get scammed by insurance companies. Even to elderly widows, It is horrible! P.S. Be CAREFULL What You SAY Publicly ! Example: What caused the damage .....
Yes insurance company tried to screw me after a fire. A friend said DONT sign anything with insurance and call fire adjuster ASAP. SO GLAD and they recommended NOT to use companies like SERVE PRO or restoration companies. They have horrible reviews. Best decision ever. Adjuster was 10 percent of claim but saved me over 80 grand back in my pocket instead of giving to fire restoration and them taking it. I had never heard of fire restoration but they are well worth it

I understand what you guys are going through. My house was completely under water for 5 days during hurricane Harvey and we lost everything we owed. your family in the process. What a testimony, thank you for sharing!
You are in our prayers and praises. Our hearts are full of love for you. ❤❤❤
So sorry this happened to you. I thank God that your lives were spared and for the help that was available to you. God bless you and your family.
My son is a builder, And He Said A few Yrs. Ago 2×4 were $2.00 Now They Are $8.00 a peace. Indeed Cheeper To Repair Your Home.
Praying For You. 💖💖💖
You are so blessed you all are healthy and know such wonderful people!
Glad you all are ok. Things can be replaced walls can be put back. Lives can not be replaced.
Prayers sent
I hadn't heard until this video but I will begin praying for you! God is in control! Thankful you are all safe. I 🙏🙏🙏🙏
My phone apparently played this the other day because I opened the link and it was half watched! But man, how scary! Glad you guys are ok!!
By ALL MEANS: GET A PUBLIC ADJUSTER!!! He will work with a Attorney, If Needed.
I do storm repairs / Insurance Claims for 21 years. The Public Adjuster Works For YOU !
You want Public Adjuster's help to work with the Insurance company,
because you don't know even though the insurance may "pay", You don't know if it would be the correct amount.
The Public Adjuster will help Navigate the claim process!
The Insurance generally will try to act like: That is their final word.... BUT IT IS NOT !!!
Please, This is Exactly Why There Are Public Adjusters... They Help "The Public", Property Owners!
A "Independent Adjuster" Helps Insurance Companies
Do NOT Agree, confirm, give consent, to ANY Insurance person as to the claim...
Thank you for this information. We will do our due diligence.
Wow Excellent advice!
I had never heard of fire restoration but they are well worth it
Our adjuster worked for us & things began to move. It's worth it! We used three ones from our home insurance company.
Thank you so much for your insightful comment. I never knew what a public adjuster was or how they could help you!
Sending you love and prayers from Australia🇦🇺❤️🙏
I am praying for you all. I am thankful you all and the dogs are unharmed. I am continuing to pray for you. God bless you all.
I am so VERY sorry for your loss. You are so VERY blessed that you are all safe and healthy.
I had a house fire in 2003 and you have my thoughts and prayers, as you are in for an arduous task to return your home back to livable.
I cannot stress enough how blessed you are to all be safe and to have such a wonderful church family behind you. I understand that it is easy to get lost in your losses, but I pray that you will be able to see a silver lining and how God can transform tragedy into triumph.
Sending much love, light, prayers, and an abundance of beautiful healing blessings to you, from the majestic Oregon coast.
You two are some of the sweetest most gentle people I have ever seen. You all are in my prayers and praying so hard for insurance to do what it was designed for. Sending love and lots of prayers!
Wishing you all a swift recovery and rebuild. I'm glad you are all physically safe and healthy. I'm glad you also have a community to support you through this.
That opening audio really got me, it is amazing how everything worked out even in the midst of tragedy. God bless you all, we are praying for you and I hope more give to the fund because community matters and your well-being matters. May we all be so blessed with family and friends and support.
I understand what you guys are going through. My house was completely under water for 5 days during hurricane Harvey and we lost everything we owed. Homeowners insurance adjuster drove up, looked at our house from her car, got back in and left. Few days later we got a letter saying they denied our claim. They said the hurricane didn't do any damage, the water did the damage so they weren't liable!!! I hope and pray you have better insurance than the state farm insurance we had. We will be praying for you and your family!!!
I am so sorry. I had tears in my eyes when you were telling about the part where your son was stuck in his room.
Wow I’m just seeing this praying over you all right now, and thanking and praising God that you’re all OK but no one was hurt, so happy your dogs OK. Love and blessings and continued prayers from California

I know it is difficult to ask for help in times of need but please do not feel that way. People want to support because they truly care about you
So glad you are safe, and so sorry for the tragic events.
As still sitting in the midst of home reconstruction due to the freeze here in the Houston area ( back in February) I know a bit about your shock and problem. God's speed-looks like you have the support of an amazing community so you are blessed- My prayer for you is for peace in your storm. The recovery is the challenge. Best regards
