- A look at the T7 Pan-European destroyer, Split. It's basically a Le Fantasque if you took away the AP, reduced the main battery reload, and added a smoke and radar consumable.

Swirsky has a new 4th row skill that extends radar to up to 30 seconds. It's a must have for this DD. You have to use the radar and when it's about to run out smoke up. The radar extends to as long as your smoke is deploying.
You never mentioned the best part about this line, which is the additional ability that Swirskis unique skill Fox Flair adds. Which says in addition to the 10% boost in MB reload while your radar is active you can make your radar last equally as long as your smokes current active window. Meaning you can radar, wait til your radar is at ~1 second, and then activate your smoke and have an additional 20 seconds of radar (which is still giving you that 10% reload boost). Effectively making all your radars 29.5 seconds long. Easily turning these high tier Pan Euro Alt DDs into cap control menaces.
Sure you have to use both your radar and smoke almost simultaneously if you want to make use of their utmost effectiveness, but that combo is the most lethal smoke radar combo in the entire game hands down imo.
Just a shame that Fox Flair is currently bugged. Sometimes it will straight up not work and your radar will start the smoke countdown, glitch out a bit and proceed to drop to 0 instantly.
iirc he probably forgot since this game never had it equipped. He kept forgetting to change it during the stream
I didn’t mention it because I have yet to see it work. I don’t know if I even had it equipped for this battle. I think I probably didn’t. I’ve equipped it since, but I still haven’t seen my radar go for longer than 10 seconds. So either I’m doing something wrong, which could be it, or the skill is bugged.
I've only managed to get Muavenet so far but definitely looking forward to Split...GG
I got the Split out of my first crate.
The "tree" themed standard camo is quite odd, but it got me to arrive to some conclusions....
At first I was rather stumped on how to play the Split but the more I played it, the more my abilities were branching out.
People who misplay the Split will find that their commander builds may be the root of their problems.
If the Split had a favorite holiday, it would be Valentine's Day because the Split is notoriously sappy.
Though Xarkun had a good game in the Split, I found his performance to be a little wooden.
One could say that the Split's bite is more dangerous than its bark.
I wonder if Xarkun was wearing Timberlands when playing the Split.
That about sums it up regarding the Split....time for me to make like a tree and leave.
The Grom at 6 is strong.
the entire line has 1/4 he: t4-6 pen 30mm and t7-LT pen 35mm
which means this line can damage any ship class within its own tier

The values on shiptools says it’s 23mm
@@henrikjohansson7776 because on pc they have standard pen (i.e. 1/6 he pen). on legends they have 1/4 pen

@@henrikjohansson7776 this is from WG themselves. u could also test it yourself in a training room. Use Richelieu for example and shoot at its 32mm bow and watch u get full pens and damage.

I did mention the other part of that skill which reduces the reload time. I’ll probably expand more on it in future videos. But also, I don’t think I was even running it in this game. Completely overlooked it in the first couple matches until the steam chat brought it to my attention. I’ve since put it on the build but have yet to see it extend my radar duration to 30 seconds, so I’m probably doing something wrong
