Covid has taken so much and lives of many many more. He may be gone from this world where his demons chased him halfway around the world , many of times I set with him under the kitchen table because in his mind he was back in nam , I never uttered a word other then sat quietly with him until the panic and flashback was over. What I wouldn't do just to set quietly once more with him. He's left his demons and he's at peace but I miss him every day.

Around 10 years after the plane crash a few surviving members of Skynyrd added some overdubs and it was released on the Legends album. The original version is also available commercially.
