Therapy has helped me at the hardest times in my life. It’s a bit like journaling, getting out what otherwise remains in your head. Very helpful video.
Hi Mare..that lip gloss is the bomb. Okay What is the difference or is there a difference between Therapists, Counselors, Social Worker, Phycologist. Are the names similar but the jobs different for different aspects of what you need? Thank-you for doing what you do .
That is a great question! I would say education, training and licensing. I am a Registered Social Worker (RSW) which is commonly covered under insurance.
Yes a part of me will always be a widow. I like to mention it so that if someone is new or even if they have followed my journey, they know that just because I am happy and in a loving marriage, doesn't mean I don't still grieve the loss of Thomas' dad. I am always going to be an ally for widows and want others to know I am a safe space to share their feelings and emotions with, despite my current situation.

I am so happy that you tried therapy and that also you found it helpful. It’s not always easy, but like you said, it can be life-changing.
Very helpful video. ❤❤
Glad it was helpful!
Everyone should go to therapy AT LEAST ONCE in their lives. At the very least, it'll give you a non bias second pair of eyes and ears.

Mare, I was surprised to hear you say you are a widow. Will you always feel or think that despite being married?

Thanks for answering as I am in a similar situation and was wondering if that identity for me would impede my ability to move forward. ♥️🇨🇦
