Exploring The Ball Hut & Tasman Glacier | Aoraki/Mt Cook NP | Part 1

Arriving mid afternoon at the Tasman Lake Car Park in the Aoraki/Mt Cook National Park 🏔️ we proceeded to hike the Ball Hut Track.
Hiking Parallel to the Tasman Lake itself (a recent addition to the park since 1990 do to rapid glacial melt 🧊) we reached a landslide that had impacted the track a couple of years back. The work around for the landslide is a very steep trail with rope assist for climbing.
Passing through waterfall 💦 lined meadows with snowcapped peaks 🏔️ and the Tasman Glacier in the background we reached the quaint Ball Hut. Just in time for the Cheeky Keas 🦜 to visit!
