Lewes Bonfire Night Parade

November the 5th, 2022 was VERY wet. I went, mainly to take still photos (see www.briandandr...) but also shot a few video clips to try to catch the feeling of the event. I was with family and a it was very crowded all the clips were taken from the same spot but hopefully give an impression of the atmosphere of this great annual event.

Nice video Brian. however, has anyone mentioned to you yet that from around 2 minutes 15 seconds in, the left channel seems to be just a very low level muffle. Almost as if the AGS kicked in because someone was blowing on a mic. On speakers it might not be so noticeable, but with headphones on it's so noticeable, I had to check on another video to ensure the phones hadn't suddenly died. The audio never recovers. No idea if this is a camera problem or something amiss in editing?

Yes, I noticed the same. I have no idea what happened as the camera was set to auto level on the internal mic. I don't know if some water got into the mic - it was rather wet with fine drizzle. I hadn't intended to take video so hadn't taken my Rode external mic with dead-cat. Not yet had an opportunity to try it out to see if all is ok. Might do later but just off to the Bluebell Railway for the Photographers' Trackside Safety Course as they have finally reintroduced trackside access for certified (not certifiable!!!) photographers.
