    Love it Jhaller! Looks like too much fun. I just finished up a few days skiing in Whistler. Trying to get the perfect shots was so much harder than I expected. Looks like you got it down though! Keep at it & keep shredding as much as possible!

      +Ryan Wilson Thanks man! Ya it has been a lot more difficult than I thought but it really is a lot of fun trying to find out what works and what doesn't. Checked out your whistler video, pretty good especially considering it was your first time out with a GoPro! That wavy box looks fun, I wish we had one.

      I feel that. But hey your video came out great! It was such a struggle, I had 3 days to film & after reviewing my first days footage I realized none of it was useable. Thanks man! It was pretty rad, although I spent the majority of my time outside of the park which doesn't necessarily produce the best footage for UA-cam. I'd love to hear your feedback on some of my other videos from various travels.

    Tremendous video guys, really. Huge balls and great skill on display. Almost all in the north bowl?

    • @guitaro
      @guitaro  8 років тому

      Thanks a lot! Yes, first part was sledding and then a lot of the rest was north bowl. Mostly due to it being such a warm winter, we had to stay up top.

    sick vid man, went up to revy last winter and had a blast. quick question, at 0:35, did you ever hit that pillow line to the far left of the screen with the little tree in front of it? it way WAY more filled in when i was there and although i didnt hit it, i gotta do it next time im up there

    • @guitaro
      @guitaro  7 років тому

      Thanks Mike! The one between the arrows here? i.imgur.com/TovHfcd.png . Can't say I've checked it out yet but now that you mention it, that does look tasty. If there aren't too many trees in the landing that is going down this year for sure! It has been added to my hit list.

      here is my view of it. it is the pillow line all the way to the left with the little tree in front of it. it is filled in alot more and all fresh snow. i thought about hitting it but didnt and i kinda wish i did. would def look at it from up top and see how steep the landing is. doesnt make me feel bad that you havent hit it either

    • @guitaro
      @guitaro  7 років тому

      Ah even further left, that's sick. Can't believe I haven't noticed it. I know that landing is steep enough. I've hit highdive quite a few times in the bottom left of your pic. Imagine if you hit your line and then continued to highdive and filmed it from where your picture was taken! Thanks for the tip, if you end up here this winter feel free to fire me a message and we can psych each other up and go hit it together haha.

      GoTime dude u just blew my mind! i was thinkin that exact same thing. thats exactly what i was thinkin. im gonna be in jackson all winter and probably may not be able to afford a trip up there this year but i definitely plan on being back in revy for sure

    • @guitaro
      @guitaro  7 років тому

      Nice. We joined the Mountain Collective this year so now I get 50% off at Jackson. Will be down there someday. You probably get Revy deals now.

    love the vid, looks so good, I'm from OZ prob heading over start of 2017, never been, could you tell me if you think Dec/Jan, Jan/ Feb or Feb/Mar would be better? going for 2 months, thanks mate

    • @guitaro
      @guitaro  8 років тому

      Thanks man. Well you never know what is going to happen, but if I had to guess I'd say Feb/Mar. March gets lots of precipitation but can be a little warm and the bottom half of the mountain may melt, but I like the top stuff best anyway. It's quieter too. Busiest time is around christmas/new year. December seems to get a lot of snow too.

    • @templaboom
      @templaboom 8 років тому

      yeah right, ok so the tree runs aren't the best late season? Any other quieter+fun resorts around BC that you'd recommend, thinking kicking horse but unsure if its too busy, thanks mate.

    • @guitaro
      @guitaro  8 років тому

      There is still lots of trees to be had. Ripper chair stays good etc. Kicking Horse looks good. Whitewater and Red mountain are very quiet and supposed to be fun but I haven't been there yet. I really enjoy Fernie but there is quite a few people there coming from Calgary.

    Do you need avi gear for this area, or is it all inbounds?

    • @guitaro
      @guitaro  7 років тому

      Hey Dylan. Most of this is inbounds except for the pillow wall session from 0:38 to 1:38 (which we definitely had gear for).

    How do you get to these spots?

  • @ToddLutherDC
    @ToddLutherDC 8 років тому

    Is all that hiking up from the top chair?

    • @guitaro
      @guitaro  8 років тому

      +Todd Luther Hey Todd. 0:37-1:37 is skiing from a sled in the backcountry. The rest is all over the mountain, but I would say 80% involved some sort of hiking, whether its straight up from the chair to subpeak or the short horizontal traverses. This is mostly because last year was so mild that snow wasn't too good on the lower half of the mountain.
