This particular video has a different screen set up than mine. The options shown here are not available to me through my software. I have just purchased the cutter and the software came with the purchase, yet my program looks nothing like yours. Am I missing something?
Hi Geraldine - good question. Things are always changing - as you can see this video is from way back in 2015! If you're a ColDesi/Colman and Company customer you can get your free online training right here: training.coldesi.com/course/cutnpress-graphtec-cutter-training/?v=7516fd43adaa
Just started using this program, do you have other vids to see too please?? Yours is the only one so far I can find for my graphtec ce5000-60. Thanks!!:)
client gave me a .jpg image of their logo. Its circular with with a bubble shape on the bottom and an illustration inside of the circle. The illustration has multiple colors. I want to make a contour cut for stickers, the circular bubble shapr but the trace tool simply wont "trace" that shape no matter how much I mess with the sliders. its either too much or too little. Its keeps capturing the colors inside the illustration. I find it hard to believe that this software doesnt have a way to create a cut path for that shape. there has got to be a way. Re-drawing the whole logo as a vector would take waaay to much time. Anybody got suggestions??
Zombie thread notice. Pathfinder- unite Or photoshop quick selection or select color is what I might use. But I only print all color on the solvent wide format printer then contour cut, for now with more than one color. Approximately 3 years seems to be the max for this workflow. I do chuckle when I drive past my outdoor 4 plus year old single color vinyl on epvc that looks as if I cut and mounted it yesterday.
Yes! Thank you so much. I see that this video is a little "dated" but it was what I needed. Thank you, thank you, thank you.
Thank you for making this video!!!
