KUDOS, old man...I'm 60...I have a new favorite.........thank you KINDLY...I can not believe, it ALL comes from, one hurdy gurdy.........if I were there, STANDING OVATION.........
Holy shit, this has to be the hidden gem of your collection. There is a 2min buildup so... Wait for it, people.
Totally!!! I love how the song tells an epic story!!
I never get tired to listen this music.
If I would ever learn a new instrument, this one is at the top of the list :)
Nikolaj Bourguignon same. Its a shame they cost a fortune.
mate don't ever play oboe then, the prices of gurdys are actually decent seen how long one can last
man, every instrument is a fortune now that I think about it.
Depends, guitars, violins, flutes (dah), pianos, drums, any popular are p cheap. Idk about oboe, but the less popular an instrument is, the most expensive it becomes.
ME TOO !!
This was amazing... Cant stop listening wtf.. How did i even find this video lol
Andrey, you are truly amazing with the hurdy-gurdy, this tune specifically, is amazing to just watch you play.
I was listening to this all normal and HOLY FUCK THE DRUMS HOLY SHIT OH MY GOD
Im from Poland....love what u play😭😭 i sleep with this song buddy !! Really love it 💝
Excellent...thank you kindly.........
Holy shit!!!! this is awesome...!!!!
Legend
I can't believe it took me this many years to find this....you're amazing!
Awesome!!
Love it when the drones cut in.
Great! I love it! I just bought one and I want to learn how to play it. I wish there were more information online or otherwise to learn how to play the Hurdy Gurdy.
Insane sound. Beautiful play.
This song is awesome
This is fucking awesome
Absolutely fucking gorgeous, my friend.
This is just incredible. Simultaneously melancholic and incredibly, stirringly powerful at the same time.
I just ordered a CD of Andreys Russian Hurdy Gurdy tunes! Can't wait!
Worth the price. I now have one of his cd's and will buy more.
same here

vraiment superbe !
This is phenomeonal. Absoluetely going to go put my dollar down for my own copy next payday.
wow, this was so cool!
Magic sound...thank you for your work...RESPECT !!!
That was metal. Would love to see a full metal band cover this.
👍
Such a fasinating instrument. The only thing I can play is the Kazoo.
Master of H.G. Beautiful!
One of my favorite Hurdy-Gurdy songs. This is awesome. I can say though, I don't think it needs the drums.
The distinctly modern drums seem almost at odds with the ancient-sounding Hurdy Gurdy...
Here's the original version without drums: ua-cam.com/video/sDO3XvXPLqc/v-deo.html
Wonderful as always!
If only someone could understand me the way he understands this instrument...
Will there once be a book of sheet music of all the tunes?
Or could you give me a hint where i can find the sheet music? I would love to play the myself.
I hear indian, gypsie and a lot of different cultures, even Viking.
This instrument and player are awesome. :))
Viking? Didn't know that was one culture.
@@doopydoopz1737 If you mean Viking isn't a culture, he obviously meant Scandinavians from the early middle ages. If you mean Vikings didn't have this instrument, it was invented during the Viking period, but was more commonly used by Celtic and Slavic people interchangeably with the bagpipe, as well as by Arabs and others in Spain. In the Renaissance it became very popular in Europe. So no, it wasn't really Viking, but it was invented in their period and was used by people they had HUGE interrelations with. The Norse did, after all, help to invent the Russians with the Kievan Rus. Most people make this medieval association and it's plausible the Vikings would have encountered it.
G*psy's a slur fam, use the word Romani (or roma, I'm not sure.)
@Path Dude I like in the US and have heard many Romani people describe it as a slur here as well. It's just normalized, and even if it is used in a positive sense, it's a slur and I've heard a lot of romani people try to tell people to stop saying it. But sadly romani voices aren't usually listened to.
I can't exactly speak for all romani people, but I do know many romani people who've spoken against it's use, and I'm just trying to make sure their message reaches more people

Mr. Vinogradov, can you please tell me if this instrument is electric amplified... or is this its real sound?
Mix electric and acoustic
@@avinograd I love it!
....when that beat drops.....
Tool from X century
The music is chanting .
What kind of region in the world would this type of music be found in the Middle Ages? I know you wrote your own music and you base it off of how it would’ve been written during the time period. Just curious, like I’d this more Nordic/Slavic (don’t know what I’m talking about) it sounds beautiful and I wonder if there’s any recorded songs from then
Slavic is an easy bet, but droning instruments like the Hurdy Gurdy have been seen in many cultures.
The Tagelarpa come to mind as an example of something from a more nordic background, though that one was bowed instead of cranked.
its funny how differnt a song sounds if its just slightly slower at points.
I prefer the old version :)
Мощный звук. Интересно сколько стоит такой инструмент.
Присоединяюсь. Мне тоже любопытно
