Unless you mean it's considered "Shirk?" then yea, it's bad but again, it's only bad if you put complete belief into it instead of recognizing that it's God who ultimately protects, controls, etc.
The way I see people being "captured" or anything like that is by their actions, like Rihanna going from ms sweet innocence to this demonic "Im the bitch, I rock, I like to have s** when I want" type of person.
I don't see that with Rita.
