I can't say I have gone through the same thing as you, but I was also made fun of for being extra skinny. I made it out of high school at 6'3" and just over 95lbs. They used to call me Skeletor. Its great to see you inspiring others, and being inspired by others. I have found that those that make the ugly comments are the ones that need help the most.
This video literally made me tear up :') . You're an amazing person: your body might not be the same as most people's, but it is beautiful - I really love your eyes and your laughter :)) And I am actually really jealous of you being able to eat whatever you like all day without having concerns about your weight >_< :D
Most importantly I love your character: I adore how you don't hide showing your emotions, but have managed to go all through this in your "previous life" - what a strong character you have ! I really enjoy seing how your life has come to a very turning point and now fortunately goes in the right direction. Everybody loves you and nobody begrudges your recent success - because you're one of the few people really deserving it. You're really one of the most inspirational people I've ever seen in my entire life (of short 17 years :D). I really had to say something, but sorry for my bad english at this point (not my mother tongue);)

If only other UA-camrs could show an ounce of realism like you had in this video. A lot of youtubers share their life with us but they hide behind an image they create for themselves and we never really get to experience their struggles, honest success and true experiences.
You talk about these negative downfalls which are the very things we relate to. I don't know how many times I've felt conscious about my own body but you show alternative ways of dealing with it

And i want to thank you for helping everyone who needs support. Because not everyone has friends who can help them get past something as tough as a depression, sociel anxiety or anything that is bothering them. But now everyone knows how to deal with them thanks to you and your achievements.

Feel free to cry more and let it all out. People don't cry enough, don't hold back the tears it stops you expressing your genuine emotions. You don't have to kiss up to society and other people and it's better to not feel obliged to do so. Body image issues affect the majority of the western population and you could help others solve their body image issues with your own experiences and emotional healing. I think you could do performance art and acting really well too.

Before I saw your Ted talk I would sometimes over look selfishness or other negative traits in women because I was physically attracted to them. My vision was clouding my heart. Your speech was a light switch. It changed me. I now see people for who they are. Physical appearance is the most temporary thing we have but nearly all of us are consumed by it. You can teach the world that what is most important already lies within us. You are beautiful inside & out. I am so proud of you. You can change the world because you are a great communicator. My very best friend sent me your video and it was the first thing I watched when I woke up and you truly amazed me. I don't have thyroid since birth so my metabolism is really low which means I get fat whatever I eat and I hate myself for my body. I recently have watched your speech and you are a beautiful person. When I was younger, I was bullied for being ugly and I despised it so much that one afternoon after school, I walked to the bathroom and seen my face and wished I was different. I started crying and clawing at my face because I was so disgusted but what I looked like. I was a lonely kid growing up and usually kept to myself. but I had one friend who changed that for me. Rachel was her name and she was my best friend. sadly, after a year, she moved away and became a different person. But since then, I have not forgotten what she has given me. and treated me like a person. I have been focusing more about someone's personality then looks. and watching your speech makes me feel like there are people out there that feel this way. better or worse, we are all together. (probably gave a lot of info but just know you hit home) I hope you keep that smile. :)
