  • Dr. Mohamad Bydon, a Neurosurgeon at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN, reviews his Case Report appearing online ahead of print in mid-November, in Mayo Clinic Proceedings, which shares results of subject #1 from his ongoing study which showed dramatic results including significant improvements in motor and sensory function for this patient with spinal cord injury injected with his own stem cells. He notes that although this is hopeful and a great step in the study of regenerative medicine, it is important to note that not all patients respond the same to the treatment and some don’t respond at all. As with cancer treatments, there will be super responders, responders, and non-responders. Available at: mayocl.in/2Po3nSC
