I’m glad that Chuan’er brought him to the academy - a place where they respect and cherish him. They gave him a beautiful sendoff, but I couldn’t take it when Zhimei jumped into the fire to join him in the afterlife. 😭He was heartbroken when Yuanzhi left him and now he can’t live without him either. 😫
Yuanzhi didn’t want to live as a demon; his special power is mentality, and he knew that there was no chance for him to become a human ever again; this very makes sense and don’t toy with emotions by playing gods and reversing situations. I hate anime that toy with emotions and playing gods with an agenda outside of the anime; for example, Soul Land, I used to love this anime until they decided to revive the rabbit to satisfy some of the fan base’s desire for views; this action just invalidated the rabbit’s sacrifice for the protagonist. I just stopped follow the series at this point and didn’t even bother with Soul Land 2.
Mei Yuanzhi truly didn’t deserve this cruel world! He was so good, kind and upright that it was so sad he met his end like that! TT Meng Chuan must be so devastated losing one of his few friends that he cherished. 🤧
He is my favourite character in this anime….im looking forward for his recovery …I cried a lot when he died….. you are always alive in our heart beautiful mei❤

This anime is becoming one of the best of all time. The story, music, anime art, and voice acting are at it's pinnacle of the industry. Now if we can just wait for a great ending, then it'll be complete. Some anime are really good, but the ending is very disappointing. Let's just hope they won't ruin this anime with a crappy ending.
