@@Androbench I only run guard with my 5 I won't do it in random rec cause I can contribute more on my center when it comes to throwing the break, getting boards and stretching the floor
Yep, people don’t understand the presence I put in opposing defense. You will never see a point running around to get bump steals off of others because they know I’m capable of scoring at a high rate if I wanted too. I give the ball to the most weakest defender guarding a capable scorer and then most of the time if they’re smart the ball will move around from there.
@@birdmas PGs don't even come get the ball on the inbounds. And don't even pass the ball. Had a PG complaining today about the team and he didn't even have one single assist
@iTROLLxTHExTROLLZ that happens in every 2k unfortunately. They've nerfed pg's into the ground so most just want to run off the ball to score and can't create. They need to bring back good, quick playmaking to create that skill gap at pg. Then everyone wouldn't make a pg anymore
some of these PGs literally can’t see the passing lanes, it’s honestly hard to even be mad at them because they don’t understand how the play is developing/defence reacting.
The problem with PGs on 2k is they think they either have to be the comp pro-am ball dominant PG or the ultra pass-first PG, no in between. If you can’t get a bucket the defense can relax and focus on your teammates. If you aren’t hitting the open man the defense will have an easy time focusing on just you.
Another issue is everyone in random rec expects the PG to play a specific way most of the time. They want the PG to hunt for 3s all game either with or without screens or pass. That seems to be the random rec teammates mindset. PGs who pass dont get the ball back when open to hit a shot. Everyone wants to set a screen at the top of the three. Ive seen two people just stand there holding a screen at the top of the three before the PG is across half court. Everyone is cutting at once and Lord forbid you miss a good open shot or miss a pass and get a turnover as a PG good luck with your teammates the rest of the game. Bad defense is the main reason for losses. Idc the position if you have no defense or cant play defense you are the reason for the loss. You dont even need to inbound to the PG if they are playing bad. Play defense and hit at least 50% of good open shots/layups/dunks and you will win most of the time
@@IrvinF88 The part where everyone is cutting randomly is so damn insane. Everyone on Defense expects them to cut. If you try to create as the PG you can't depend on teammates to be where you expect them to be cause they're cutting all of the time 🤦♂️🤦♂️🤦♂️

It can go either way honestly. As a PF who inbounds a lot I get so damn tired of PGs running up to half court towards the defender where they can easily get the steal all cause the PG didn't COME TO THE BALL 😤😤😤

@iTROLLxTHExTROLLZ hear me out. Purely in terms of game mechanics, you have to admit it's tough for point guards. There’s been more bad PG’s this year than Centers which is surprising.
