I found your videos last year in April or May, I believe. In July I went to OshKosh with a friend for my first time. First day there we went to the ultralight area and watched a yellow and blue Aerolite take off and I said to my friend 'that looks like Alina's Aerolite, but it couldn't be'. He said 'who the heck is Alina??' So I explained it to him and we waited until she landed to confirm it was actually her. It was great to see her fly in person. And a fantastic thing you've done for her. I would have given anything for that opportunity at her age. Glad you got to go back this year and appreciate the continued posts!
Dear Alina, every now and then I come to your channel to see you fly on your ultralight, just as I went to see my father fly his own; my father was a firefighter with a passion for flying, who built his own ultralight in 1981, based on a wheedhopper design. First with KFM engine and then Rotax. He, like you, had this need to fly, to go among the clouds, to feel good. He flew until 1997, continually improving his aircraft, and keeping it in compliance with the standards that were gradually created (at the beginning there was nothing...) He was also awarded an official patent, for acquired merit. Those were different times. Then he got sick and had to stop. When I hear you giving full power my heart skips a beat, like then.. Fly safe, and remember, speed is safety.
I don't know who had the best view, to be honest? The five guys in lawn chairs sitting in a line on the runway threshold at the base short final turn, probably edged it!!!! at 19:29 But I think we've got one of the best seats in the world right here. Thanks for posting. Always a pleasure.
Alina est vraiment très douée.Je crois qu'elle a trouvée sa voie.Je suis ses performances depuis pas mal de temps.Elle sera une grande pilote, son avenir est tout tracé.Avec toute mon admiration.Bravo a toi, continue a pratiquer ta passion.
Good Morningggggggggg Alina! I was issued a pair of those glasses when I became a Flying Crew Chief on the B52G at Wurtsmith, sadly I lost them. Now you have a pair..., where were you in July 1979? Question, do you have a log book, and can you log your Ultralite time? I hope we get to see the expression on your face the 1st time you push the throttle forward on a jet, and you will get there!
@@williamh.scottv438: Glad to hear she has a logbook. I assume she has flown and logged some dual time in a standard aircraft, I know she can't solo in one until she's 16. Now that begs me to ask the question, why can't those hours in the air be considered as airtime?

Truly......i personally haven't seen anyone who enjoys being up in the air as much as you do Alina!! 😊
I learned to fly a Rotec 2B back in 1983 at a airport in Morgantown PA. I enjoy watching your videos.
Is that the model she flies?

@@roberthildinger4511 she does have a log book but it doesn't have any of her ultralight time in it.
you can't log ul time no

@@stevekile1919 No N Number? If she had a N Number (register as a light sport experimental) ... same solo rules would then apply
Love your videos! Would like a shot from behind so we could see out in front.
Mr. Scott, How do you secure the aircraft. Camp out near it? Set up cameras?
None of that. People tend to not mess with it. We check it before flying just in case.
alina s cool
also, how did you all score such a premo spot for her plane lol, right at the gate
Luck of the draw
what are you from ?
South Carolina
@@williamh.scottv438 thank !
Wonder if they develop muscle memory by starting young that older students & southwest pilots don't have.
Probably
Helmet !!!!!!!!!
Ahhhh!!!!
@@williamh.scottv438 I know, right? People just don't understand. Bless their hearts. 😂
40,000 people camping or 40,000 actual rv's tents
I think it was 40,000 people camping
Love your videos. Why not just do touch and gos instead of wasting all that gas on the ground?
That's the procedure for ultralite aircraft. No touch and goes.
@@williamh.scottv438 thanks. Is there a specific reason for that?
@@dyerarch I don't know the origin of the rules, but for many it's the only time of the year they fly so they're trying to keep it trouble free.
