Hi Kelly, I want to thank you for the instructions in your Russian spiral tutorial. I love the fact that you go back to show the beginning again, it makes more sense the second time around. I had taken a class and had actually done a bracelet and a necklace that came out divine, but after a couple of weeks I had forgotten how to actually start. You are a life saver!!! and a terrific teacher!!!
Hi Kelly,
I am a new beader and have completed several of your projects. I always receive compliments on them. Thank you for you clear, concise instructions.

I love your videos Kelly!! I look forward to each and every one! I just can't get enough!
Kelly, you're an awesome instructor. Since watching your video I have made several different styles - with and without a dowel. The best looking RS is with size 8 & Size 11 seed beads and I used all 11's and still came out awesome. Thanks for all your videos!
You explain it very well. It is so easy to do after watching your video. Thank you!
Kelly, another great video! Thanks for helping us learn. :) I can't wait for next week!
I already commented once when you first uploaded this video, but I just wanted to tell you again that I have made several (actually a lot) of your tutorials. You are a great instructor. I also am very anxious for the ring tutorial, I lovvvvveeee it! Actually I have been peeking every day for you next upload just in case you taped one early :) Thanks again!
Kelly, I must have watched over 25 vids on this stitch, and none of them were as clear in instruction as you are. Now I know I can do this, didn't think so before, thank you.
Such clear instruction, I think I can do it. I also noticed the beautiful ring you are wearing. Thanks.
thank you i love the way you do your tutorial very clear and easy thank you Kelly
Love this bracelet / necklace.! Definitely one to try! Thanks for all your videos! You are such a doll!
Love all your videos, you explain so well especially for me being a beginner. I'm going to start off with one of your lovely rings. Wish me luck.
hi Kelly, love this. i agree though i have to stop and then come back. but i love it. i would realy love to learn how to make the ring that you are wearing. it is awsome! my mother in law would love it. thanks for this great tutorial. God bless and have a great day
Thank you so much for making this understandable! I attended a 2 hour class AND watched at least half a dozen videos, and only yours helped me! 😘 Muah!
this is a wonderful tutorial, thank you kelly your very skilled , you are wonderful
Ok first of all a Delica is a perfect shaped cylinder bead. A regular seed bead is round and depending on the brand some have a lot of imperfections. Second, When doing the spiral stitch it is not going to matter which way you pick up the bead. The bead will move and twirl on the thread so there is no way to keep them all exactly the same way. Hope this helps!
Thank you once again. I so look forward to your videos and I can't wait to see the next:)
thank you so much,Kelly. Your instructions are so clear. Cheryl C. from Canada
Kelly, as always, you made my day! I am your biggest fan as you know, and I have just done several of the crosses . I can't wait to try this..
Hope all is well!
HI Sammy Too...

Kelly you are one my all time favorite beading instructors there is so much I still need to learn but I have learned so much watching you and some other teacher you make projects so clear even the ones I haven't been able to grasp. Thank you so much
You kill it everytime Kelly! Thanks for ALL your videos. I have learned so much from you & have created some beautiful jewelry
Kelly really lovely tutorial ..thank you as always ..stay blessed
Thank you Kelly, I've been searching for this tutorial for a long time. Your tutorial is very clear. Thank you for all your videos!
another great video kelly I also love this stitch and a good variation is using a small bugle bead instead the 4mm creates a a interesting spiral for sure.
Your video is the best I've seen. This is another stitch I could not master either. I even had a kit which was surposed to be for a beginner but the written instructions and drawings were awful. It was so bad I complained. Well I ended up using the beads for something else. I got the kit from a UK store.
Clear and precise instructions. Wonderful tutorial! Thanks, Kelly!
Hi Kelly! As always another wonderful tutorial! You make it so easy to learn. FYI you might want to have hubby change the description of the video I think it's from the last one! Enjoy your day...can't wait to figure out how to end this stitch on the next video!
Thank you for this tutorial! I was really failing with other explanations and instructions - after watching your video, I'm halfway done with my first project!
Thank you so much..... your explanation was fenomenal....Regards from Mexico City..
Love your ring. I have made about 100 of those. :) Thanks for another wonderful video, been wanting to learn this stitch.
love your hair cut and thank you for being such a great teacher!!
I like your videos and easy to follow the instruction. Thanks
Thanks a million. Great video! Clear and patient explanations , and oh so helpful. Bless you!
Fantastic!You ring too,I love them!
Tried Russian spiral several times to no avail. The dowel really helps us beginners. Thanks for the tip!
Something I do, which may or may not be weird...lol. Instead of using a dowel (which I hate using because I have gotten splinters on the end that I cut), I use a crochet hook. I have so many of them and in so many sizes that one will definitely work for whatever size I'm needing. And the bonus.. no splinters! LOL. Just thought I would bring that up :) I love how this looks... great job! :)
Hey, Kelly - used clear tubing (available from aquarium supplies) for the center - you can choose to leave it in to allow light to show through the spiral or remove it. No fish were harmed in the production of this stitch;)
Yay! I can understand this! :D Time to get beads, a clasp, and some fireline or something like it...
Great tutorial! That looks like a fun stitch!
I love all your tutorials, very easy to follow, God bless you,
Merci pour ce partage. Un tuto très clair et facile à suivre.
Very nice video, very clear, thank you
Wish I knew. Thats what the bead stitch has been called for years but I have never thought to look it up and see why it's called Russian.
Same goes from me Kelly, I love all of your tutorials you're one of the few that one can follow and actually see what you're doing. I'm now making this Russian Spiral bracelet, was confused at first but took apart and saw that I missed the step up. the only thing I don't like is the big spacing between beads. Can you show us how to connect it so it's a bangle? Thanks so much for sharing. :)
You are doing a great job;), thank you for your work
Flawless.
lovely! Kelly another great tutorial. Looking for a dowel.... :) Thankyou . xx
Thank you Kelly for your real good tutorials, I'd like to know the difference with "FIRE LINE" and WILD FIRE thread.
She explans the Russian sprial much better!
Hi Karen - you are so clear precise in showing this beautiful stitch which makes it so much easier to understand. Just a quickie, how many crystals did you use??
Depending on the length you will probably need between 80-100 beads per bead color
You're videos are wonderful! I have FINALLY learned how to do the Russian spiral....you made it so simple. I do have one issue/question. I can't seem to make it tight enough. I'm using a dowel (the sticks Chili's uses for sliders is perfect!!!) and I pull the thread tight but it doesn't seem to stay? Any suggestions? I ended up stitching thru the sead beads again and that tightened it up but would rather skip that extra step.
She does, it's called the Crown Jewels Ring. Just do a search in her channel.
I love the ring you're wearing in this video. Did you make it? If so, did you ever do a tutorial on it?
I did a lot of this today. Was able to do it with 10 lb string. What sucks, is that there's no bead store near me, and that chord was white. My beads were 6mm and 11's, but it looks okay with the 6mm. But the 6mm beads are see through, and because the string is white it looks funny.
Aaand, I ran out of 6mm beads. Back to the store... My mom has some clear sewing string, which will work I hope..... I'm so frustrated, I should have waited to go to the store in Murray...
the dowel for this is actually 3/16". I got 1/4 and it opened my tread and beads. :)
Nice !!!!...thank's
gracias lindo spiral
It's a 1/4 inch dowel I believe.
I love your videos. They are so easy to follow. But I have one question, silly as it might be, and it has nothing to do with this stitch, did you make your ring? It's gorgeous!
With this could I use a rondelle spacer bead instead of the bicones or a round bead like a pearl? And thank you for this video. Now I'm not afraid to try and make it. Thanks again.
I just have two questions....what is the difference between just a seed beed and a delica??? And on the "A" bead you are using here, where one side is metallic and the other isn't...is it necessary to pick them up the same way each time? For example...always entering through the metallic part or always entering through the other side. I have been confused about both of these things...thanks in advance for your help!!!
This is gonna take a while to learn. I'm doing something wrong. God knows what... Gonna put it down for now.
its nice
Hey. Wonderful work! How many A beads and B beads are needed to make a bracelet? I've been thinking for a while now to make this bracelet;))
How would you adjust the amount of seed beads, if you wanted to use a bigger diameter pearl?
adorei muito obrigado
Hi Kelly,
Why do you need a stick in de middle of your work with this stich??????
Greetings from Holland,
Marja
Have you ever worked with Silamide thread? If so, what did you think of it.
Hi Kelly, can I use larger beads to do a chunky bracelet? Thanks
Would a small knitting needle work instead of a dowel? I have a whole set of wooden knitting needles.
You are so cute, I love the way you explain things, by the way, here is the word you were looking for.
Noun: monotony. |mu'nó‑t(u‑)nee|, The quality of wearisome constancy, routine, and lack of variety , = humdrum, sameness
Shame on you. Humans talk. Go look at a book and diagrams if you want only directions. Don't come here and tell Kelly where she's allowed to say what in her own video! By the way, you have a cursor and can skip the parts you don't like, instead of complaining.
you are great, but the camera does't follow your work all the time
