Lovely, as always 😊 Yep...1000% style with my heart. There are definitely times I style an area and I like but don't love it so I live with it for a bit and then tweak it until I do love it.
Heart is the best way - makes you happy. There is a candle parer ( you call them sharpeners) They are like a big pencil sharpeners you can get - usually metal. So much easier then melting etc. Also if your leaf is green PLUS white it's called a Verigated leaf. If any of your garden plants have this keep an eye out for new shoots with only green leafs growing. Pull these off - as the plain green leaf is the dominant leaf and will outgrow the variegated leaf n you will end up with an all green bush. PS your green plates - plus everything you do - are gorgus. Love the flowery cushion covers too IRELAND
You're absolutely right. There is benefit in sharing the process. We watch youtubers like you with amazing talent and we think "It just comes naturally easy to her.", but its nice to see that you step back, change your mind, and its an experiment of trial and error and reevaluation. Shows us that even with your talent and eye for design, it still takes time and effort.
I too constantly tweak my vignettes. Sometime its not right for 3 days! As I walk by I'll move a pot or a bunny or a candle til it feels right. Its usually a balance and weight visual that is off for me. I do feel contrast is huge too. Everything turned out beautifully, as I had no doubt , it would. You are so blessed your home suits your vision and style aesthetic.

*Sophisticated Elegance* . The olive green Zara plates are gorgeous! I'm a sucker for vintage tableware and that pattern reminds me of my brown Spode reproductions which I love. How clever to put a book collection in the chaffing dish stand, that looks amazing. The simple branches in the vase are the perfect ode to Spring. Best of luck with your Pothos. I have never had success growing them in soil, the water only has worked the best for me. I find them to be temperamental. If they are thriving in a spot, best to let them be.

That A great tip on the shapes.. thanks! I love the way you did the birdhouse, really pretty! Greenery can change the look of things so easily and simply. The pillows look really pretty. Pothos plants are great inside plants, so esay to care for & keep alive. The paintings are stunning!❤ Obsessed with those frames with the chains!! Can you link those or are they A DIY? I love using the silver serving piece to corral books, i see lots of ladies doing this now..i have a bible collection in one and old books in another. Everything looks beautiful..i always love watching you style your home!
One tip for keeping plants alive and healthy always try to keep them in the original pot they come with and then insert them is good for proper drainage. I always keep killing plants and I try as much as possible do that and find nice planters to put in my plants

Real plants are always nice if your environment can support them. I’m a horticulturist by profession and I always use a mix of real a faux plants…the faux I used for decorating and the real stay stationary in places within the home that can support them.

Thank you Sherry! I haven’t changed much in the curio cabinet at this point but may in the future. If I would have added to it for Spring it likely would have been some pretty dried or faux florals to the vintage bottles!
