    Great geo building, that my music made me nervous. I had to turn the volume down all the way to focus on the build. But I would love to have one of those or two for my property.

    Get some of the sticky solar panels you would have it going on...

    Great video! How has this dome held up, are there things you learned that you would do differently? Can you build a dome like this without a poured foundation? could it be secured to piers instead? How was it ventilated? Thank you for sharing!

      go to growingspaces.com for more info, new domes this size will get solar attic fans

    Hi: Awesome build, what connectors are you using and what is the dimension of the lumber that is being used? Cheers Scott.

    • @RodneyLee
      @RodneyLee  4 роки тому +1

      Hubs are made by Growingspace just for their Growingdome, the lumber in the 42 footers is 2x6

    this is awesome! How did you calculate length of all planks for 42 feet?

    • @RodneyLee
      @RodneyLee  4 роки тому +1

      Didn't have to as this is a kit everything is precut and ready to assemble, however there are plenty of dome calculaters online

    • @RodneyLee
      @RodneyLee  3 роки тому

      that would be a long list and very expensive, these are kits from GrowingSpaces in Colorado, pricey and well engineered, ready to assemble (the Polycarbonate comes in 6' x 35' sheets, would you really want to deal with that?)

      Looked like the dome framing and polycarbonate or whatever see through panels slide or fit together perfectly. Is this some kind of a kit and do you have links to any hardware and materials you needed to buy to build this?
