@@suberizedwrx My Arcimoto is saving me a bundle every year on insurance. I give $130/yr for a good Allstate policy. That rate depends on me being retired with Medicare and with no need for any of the medical or uninsured motorist coverage. This varies from state to state but unless you ask the agent will not tell you if medical is optional. A license means you drive anywhere a car can drive within the limitations imposed by minimum speed limits on some highways. State Farm and more are now offering coverage.

This is my favorite upcoming EV. It's the only one it's even possible for me to own since I'm a renter who doesn't have access to any outlet near where I park, nor do I have any ability to modify the property. It should be able to do my 32.5 mile commute to work even on the worst days, going 50mph the whole time with the AC or heat on, and then I'll be able to take the batteries inside to my charging station at work, charge up, and go home. Depending on real world range, I might not even need the second charging station at work.
Also I feel like I could sell this thing better than the CEO, DM me if you need a cheap PR guy! I'll quit my job and go preach the Nimbus gospel right now.

make the batterys stackable so they can click together, add a couple of tiny wheels and a handle, now they act like a hand truck and are much easier to move, you can even plug 1 in and it can charge the 4 stack.

Our current 2nd vehicle is a 2009 and doesn't have much life left in it. I'm the sole driver for commuting and city driving and I'm REALLY considering the Nimbus-One as the replacement.
I love the compactness, the removable batteries with 110V charging, the low price, the +1 seat, AND no special license!! .. but I'd be worried about the tilting on a wet or icy road surface.
Rather than tilting, I saw one micro-EV that had LATERALLY RETRACTABLE front wheels that could extend out to about a 5ft width.
I can't be sure without test-driving both types to compare .. but I think I might feel safer with the wider spread front wheels if driving on a wet or icy road surface.

I suppose that one battery cart rack could have wheels. Once out of the vehicle, it could hold other batteries for easy transport into the house. Could one battery run a lawn mower? A battery swap station would sure be handy. That's getting really close to being a vehicle I desire.

@@ESG-ElectricScooterGuide Thanks Vosk! Btw, I failed to mention. A Big Thanks to You and the ESG Crew, as I have 2 electric scooters since 2020. The portable Mk1 Apollo City and a larger Laotie Ti30 Land Breaker. I am also a proud EUC rider (King Song 16X). You and the ESG Crew essentially introduced me, to the world of EVs in 2020, and I am very grateful. Electric Scooter Guide is always my go-to, for anything electric scooters.
This bigger size autocycle Aptera is what I need, with enough room to load the 2 escooters and/or my 16X. I cannot load any of the above PEVs in a Nimbus, in a practical and workable manner. Practical cargo space, even for 1 sole driver/occupant is literally non existent. Honestly, in my real world use case as a daily driver, the diminutive autocycle Nimbus is questionable. Esp here in Los Angeles freeway driving.
For a small city or town trips/errand use, the Nimbus is fine (that is what my 2 electric scooters and EUC are for). Cheers! ☺

@UCvZfChhZZ87oOZ0aYH4eJXQ First of all I would not post lies like this and expect a reply. My Arcimoto has a trunk that holds ten bags of groceries and the entire back seat is cargo space if you have no passenger, plus there is a delivery version and a flat bed version so shove it with that "no cargo space at all" bullcrap. The Nimbus DOES have cargo space and a rack, you liar. All vehicles are upgradable. Aptera is not in production, good luck with that. Elio deposits were lost. The Arcimoto is a full size autocycle with the same safety level as any small car. In the year 2022 we should be changing behavior - no long trips for fun or for the sake of driving. Educated people knew that as of 2010. Use busses and trains for that. Only traveling service and sales people can justify going 100+ miles in a day. The Nimbus is a micro-autocycle so it is not going to be as safe and does not have to be at the level of freeway speed safety. I'd be interested for its AC in summer. Otherwise the doorless Arcimoto is a better ride.

Actually, I like the approach similar to a ElectraMeccanica Solo: Low seating, central driving position. In the US, we're limited to three-wheeled autocycles due to regulations regarding street legality, but a "sports" autocycle along the lines of an actual sports car could be rather entertaining. The Aptera comes fairly close and the Daymak Spiritus imparts that vibe, so it'd be interesting to see more variations on this theme.

All of Canada? Isn't the climate in Toronto about the same as where they are from in Ann Arbor?
I used to work at a company in Flint, and we joked about how the weather was down there with the guys at our headquarters in Toronto, as they were slightly south of us.

Hi! We're sorry for the delay. We're currently concentrating on fine-tuning the Nimbus One by initially focusing on fleet customers. This strategy ensures that when we begin delivering to our individual pre-order customers, everyone receives the best version of the product, free of any early-stage issues. Our current best estimate for delivering the first vehicles to customers will be sometime in 2024.

I love the Arcimoto FUV, but they are having financial issues as their stock has dropped 75% the last 6 months. I hope they find a solution, but if not this is not a bad alternative. However, Unlike the made in America FUV, this EV is made in China. Not Good. If they can bring the manufacturing here to the States I would buy it.
