I spared myself 11 minutes... at the 3-minute mark, when he said Old Trafford made the necessary upgrades and Emirates pales in comparison, i was done watching. The rat infested Old Trafford, with the leaky roofs? Was this video AI generated?
A whole lot of whataboutery with a clickbait title. Don't bother watching. Just random generic chat over a bunch of stock footage and a comment about Old Trafford having had a lot of investment recently. :|
Fortress? I don't think Arsenal was the same Arsenal anymore since they left Highbury. The stadium was bigger but their soul left the club. They can't replicate their success in Highbury years.
I think the plan regarding increasing seating capacity hinges on firstly getting approval from the local authority so that local transport links aren't overwhelmed, and if that is achievable through significant further investment, the easiest way to get more bums on seats would be by making the seats slightly smaller so capacity could be increased by an extra 10 to 15 percent. It would make for a tighter fit but wouldn't mean major engineering at the ground.
HELLO! This is my protest & concern: Reducing & ceasing the production of plastics; acrylics & polyester, available to buy in the Club shop, will make sense environmentally! The intentions of the leadership, should be based around improving the quality of local water supplies to residents, green aspects of increasing underfoot health & considering how to help fans feel like working at the Emirates Stadium, can benefit your soul, not only your bank balance.
I understand your sentiments bro. The Club have got a lot of design consultations, to invite us locals too. The intensity & distance to the pitch, should be made priority, not these digital screens etc. The gradient of the stands could be too, expensive to plane & execute?
A bit pie in the sky all this if the truth be told as between Liverpool & Spurs there is only a 1000-1500 difference in capacity which isn't exactly huge & both grounds are finished & yes the corporate facilities will be more inviting nowadays but the Emirates is almost 20 years old!! Any seat expansion should fill in the corners level with the other upper seating which would increase capacity by 8000-10,000 which is plenty!!
The corners of the upper tier let light into the stadium on a sunny day tho which makes the whole experience better. Other stadiums with a completed upper tier like Wembley and Old Trafford feel a bit more intimidating and not as homely. It would be better imo to lower the pitch and fill in the extra space at the front of the lower tiers, that way the fans would be closer to the pitch aswell, something people always complain about.
@@michaellewis3747 Jealous? It's a stadium ffs not a smoking model I want to f#ck. I like Spurs stadium. Ours was built in 2006, technology has moved on rapidly. Of course yours should be better. The Kroenke's own Sofi stadium. Now that is the ultimate arena.
Shut up you jealous Wally . It’s the world’s best football stadium that can hold other events like Woolwich have seen and now desperately trying to copy ya salty goon 😂😂.

Yeah what’s the point when they opened it they sold it to the fans as Ashburton Grove not “the Emirates” with Arabic symbols all over the stadium so as to prevent revolt, instead Wenger’s ailing kopped their anger instead. If they’re willing to go to such lengths they may as well just leave the area completely and build a new 100,000 stadium called “Qatar” or whatever!
Owners of English top flight clubs have to be the worst investors on the planet. Not ONE club turns a profit. Not one. Year in and out. Yet they spend all this money on stadium expansions, to add more club suites and price out the regular folks. For what?, nothing. A year end loss of revenues.
Yeah but i bet the overall value of the club increases over time and when they try to sell it they can always (if the climate of football interest continues) get a great return on investment.
Approval from the local authority will be very difficult and for sure the council will decline. Best way to expand will be to add more seats behind the goal and lower the football pitch

14 minutes of my life I’m not getting back. This video is full of PR speak and waffle with no substance to what the changes actually are.
I hate to break this to you but you dont get any of it back.
Thanks.. I saved my 14 minutes after seeing your comment. Your sacrifice won't be forgotten. 🎉🎉

Dollars….???….kid your out of your depth
It can’t be expanded beyond its current capacity by more than a few hundred. Ignore all videos stating massive seat expansion

A fortress of football history? Have they won anything since they have been in there 😂
Thanks

Its all about money now...they don't care about trophies
Shaluup lol smh

there are over 100k fans on waiting list expanding the stadium is a must plus we can't allow spurs to have a bigger stadium than us 😂😂
We must deliberately stay on top of Spurs in every ramifications.
We played the Champions League final before them, and we must win it before them.
500K fans on the wait list.

Islington Council: “No.”
Need 100k seats
They are letting OldTrafford wither actually.
I laughed so hard at “atmosphere”, and had to scroll to the next video.
How did you write a comment then?
😂
The last time this happened the club was destroyed. So excuse me if I am not excited

80 000 seater will be much better ❤

It's only because spurs stadium is on a whole different level
Arsenal built their stadium long before Spurs. Doesn't take a genius to figure out the later stadium is going to be more advanced. Duh!

Cader, compedidive, unforgedable. What language is this??
City working on their stadium now all of a sudden everyone wants to do some kind of upgrade with their stadiums too 😂😂
Spurs stadium is an events arena, not a football stadium.
It's almost like emirates. What's the difference?
Agreed! There arent enough pie sellers and 'odd job men', to fill the spurs stadium!

I have visited both. Spurs seats & distance to the pitch, is much more like a great place to watch football. Reminds me of Highbury Stadium.
😂
Wish I read the comments first. Zero news about anything
bro, i swear, WHY DID HE KEEP ON COMPARING US TO TOTTENHAM!!!!!!!
Because it's much better than yours 😁

Arsenal should move away for emirates and build 75000 seater new reftractable roof stadium
Ahh yes lets spend $3bn to fit an extra 15k people in
The last time they did that it resulted in the club being mediocre for more than 15 years
Islington Borough Council would never allow a club stadium to have the capacity of 75,000. And leaving north London isn't an option.
arsenal should move back to south london
