These relatively new skills/exploits made everything else in Mordhau useless. All you need to do is choose 2 hit weapons and do same things all the time to kill. Hopefully these stuffs get fixed or overhaul
How many games will it take for people to understand that having 1 direction timed parry is a bad idea mainly because of ping? You can blame whatever: swing manip, tryhards, game tweak, nothing of that matters since real problem is parry as it is. Directional blocks is my first checkbox when I even consider trying new melee game and this rule saved me tons of mental health
@@eternalsence3033 It matters but at the same time it doesn't. You still cant spin or anything like that, and you cant turn any farther, but you can turn faster.
Can you do a tutorial for the drags like the one you do at 1:27? Specifically on how you make it look so similar to an accel, but are still able to drag it out for so long
appreciate the tutorials. could you elaborate a bit more on turncap ratio? is the reason you recommend a high sens purely to hit the turncap as fast as possible when starting swing manip or is there actually an ideal dpi/sensitivity ratio for turncap mouse input?
for accels yes, you want to be hitting the maximum possible turncap at all times, jacking up the dpi to 3200 and say 3.0 sens is pointless due to turncaps and you'll be having a hard time aiming at all in neutral state meanwhile 800 dpi 1.0 sens will be good enough for nearly all things except maybe those rare weapons with absurdly high turncap in the 320s once you exceed the turncap (it happens immediately on windup) your swing will be slowed to that turncap for drags its an entirely different story as usually you don't want to be hitting turncaps due to many negative factors for most types of drags but that's out of the scope of the question

this is not an "ultra accel" (masked accel mb?) its is common accel but with masked begining of it so enemy will not be prepared to do early parry u show to your oponent that the swing will be neutral speeded so he cant react in time it is like in-out drag, when u start side-swing iposte with blade almost inside of enemy's body, so he clearly see an accel coming but in moment when release starts u draging away the blade and execute a drag - extremely high reward technique even at high level, at 1:26 u can see an illustration of sucha technique (but not a perfect illustration cuz he faked accel not enough "deeply" to really scare enemy and force to early parry)
Fr i put in chat of one of the invasion and frontline servers, "Yo this game is dying because of the accells, kick, the ULTRA SLOW im never going to actually hit you maul players, feints have a key and are not nearly as effective" There needs to bee a larger way to block melee and projectile to be balanced with the infinite number of mixups that a weapons swing has from a parry that only lasts 2picoseconds.. against 1-2-9 players within swing. Just salty

bruh i hate accels if you have anything above 60 ping, you basically have to parry during their feint window because youll get a red parry otherwise.
there is no feint window on riposte

First accel towards the enemy, mouse past the enemy, then quickly drag by looking in the opposite direction

I play at 800dpi and 0.7 in game and thats more than enough for me to be able to do this and have precise control over my movements.

The problem is the parry time is not enough to defend this, so this breaks the game
