    Nice ....cardboard and paint ,you don't even need frames ....very inspiring

      Go to the exit of a grocery store and grab some cardboard and try to make something, like not as a challenge to up the artists ass but just try to make something with the same constraint and dimension, I think if you spend even just 2 hours doing it something will change in your mind

    Amazing how Tuttle does not assign a preciousness to the art pieces. The painted corrugated cardboard pieces are punctured by the nails that fix them to the wall.

      I don't agree - The situation is as you describe but then it's passed through the cipher of the art presentation theatre of the exhibition space that produces the work as an idealised object. This is what Tuttle is all about and why it works. The 'work' is the systematic function of the difference between the studio and the exhibition space.

      This is an example of *an* applauded artist, there are a fuckton of artists who create different, more technique-intensive artworks who are just as celebrated as Richard Tuttle.
