Leonardo Drew: Creating Cast Paper "Cores" at Pace Paper

Leonardo Drew has been working for the last year at Pace Paper's Brooklyn workshop, creating the works for his upcoming show at Pace Prints.
In this video, he describes the cast paper "cores" that anchor many of the works. These paper sculptures are a technical tour-de-force that challenged Pace's master printers to push the boundaries of paper-making.
Leonardo Drew opens Friday September 14 at Pace Prints, 521 West 26th Street, and runs through November 3, 2012.
