I think it's odd how Jack presents him as quite a serious guy, yet clearly he has a sense of humour. Good to see little videos like these, though. If a few artists I like do something cool for Record Store day 2014 I'll go out and get a recorder player, wanted one for a few years now.
This was a high class tour of the wax factory. I'd like to thank my Dad for taking me as a wee kid every week to the record store to buy one 45 since the age of 5 and the numerous guys behind the counter who always saved me the top 45 of the week.
I've just found this video, and I have to say that I absolutely love this guy and have massive amounts of respect for what he's doing. Even though it's more than 5 years old, I know for a fact he's still living the sentiments expressed in that About section (did it seem to carry the rhythm of a song to anyone else? ... No? Just me? Okay...). It just makes me excited for, and willing to support, whatever he does next.
I think that's kind of a reference to "The White Stripes" right there at 2:26 ... and just before that Jack was talkin' about coincidences... and knowing Jack I think that can be a little "wink wink ;) " to us... hmmm...
Jack white has repeatedly stated that they are not coming together again. The only way for him to do it would be for him to become bankrupt and penniless, lol. Maybe it could be a hint for a new WS vault stuff
Wow I love Jack white is my idiolo forever and I love his music from his attitude and everything it stands for fabulous and now instructs and informs me thanks jack white Luck! and very successful
Howard Ehmer That was a rhetorical question. I asked that because it was released in 2014, near Record Store Day 2014, but it was from 2013, and the video was already released on UA-cam.
I love the feeling of holding the music in my hand. The fact that the grooves contain the actual ability to transmit the sound via the needle. I love the large artwork on the sleeves. All of that. Digital is convenient and I use it a lot, but if I want to sit down and feel the full experience of an album, I choose vinyl.
While I agree with some of his points too, I do think Jack is a little old fashioned. Nothing wrong in enjoying what you grew up with, even if some people do have a grudge against it. Nothing stops from both enjoying an instrument and playing a video game in my spare time, you know? People across the decades have shat on any new form of media, in the name of lacking a soul. It's hard to believe, but books were seen as a great evil when they first appeared. I, personally, prefer the taticle feel of books to a tablet screen, so I get a feeling I'd enjoy collecting records....Gotta admit, one of those odd guys who smells the page of his books. :P
For a man who takes interviews so seriously, he is absolutely hilarious when he just messes around.
I love how straight faced he manages to stay.
He had some very good points

Talented..Hot..Intelligent and a Smartass.😂 How can you not love him?!💙.
IS THAT A FUCKING PEPPERMINT I SEE?!
THE WHITE STRIPES....
Anyone here know how to lip-read?
I'd love to hear a Jack White song about asteroids and the Freemasons.
You know this video really changed how *prolonged construction noise* and I feel we are all better people for knowing that.
I think he explained the meaning of life and we didn't even get to hear it.

The timing of Jack walking past the machines to cut out his voice was just incredible
This was fucking hilarious.

I think you're unfortunately having too much hopes here
..I know.. I know... GOD DAMN IT DON'T RUIN THIS.... but ..I know >_>
Eric Red Maybe its him trying to touch the white stripes but it electrocutes him and he gives up

I do love Jack XD
Thanks, Jack! I always wondered!
jack white you silly man
Wow I love Jack white is my idiolo forever and I love his music from his attitude and everything it stands for fabulous and now instructs and informs me thanks jack white Luck! and very successful
just brilliant
Jack I LOVE YOU !!!!!
I think the reason no kids answered yes was that they don't know what 'stand alone' record store means.
Brilliant.
Be sure you read the About. Jack's my hero in this regard.
LMAO!!! He is silly as hell! I just found this and I'm btfo!
Isn't this from last year?
it is. that's not cool.
It's still hilarious none the less.

Make sure you read the About sections people, wise words.
Facts
Radical, Jack White. Radical.
you are hilarious
Oh what a silly man he is😉 Two thirds of the world!!
Physical mediums for music seems really inefficient. I grew up with cassettes, then cd's, and love digital.
