If anyone has any questions about whether the property is currently available or not, please feel free to write to me. But I can't guarantee that I'll respond quickly. The house is currently rented to a very, very nice family. Very great tenants. You couldn't have it better as a landlord. Currently rented for an indefinite period of time.
Cool place. Cool video, as always. Unfortunately the US installations were closed in my hometown, but I sure remember the many Fests we had with our American friends and many lived outside the US housing areas. Hope y'all are feelin' good here, you are welcome 🇺🇸🇩🇪🇪🇺🤗
We were the previous tenants and thoroughly enjoyed 2 years here. Lovely home and awesome landlord 😍
Beautiful home! Now you can look back at it forever :)
So how did you swing renting off the economy?
I don't know how to PM you, but I'm considering taking a civilian job at Grafenwohr and I'm wondering what the rent for a home like this would be? Here in Texas this would be about $2,500-$3k a month.
I have a wife and 5 young children, we need a bigger sized home but we don't want to spend everything on housing. Anyhow, thanks for any insight you can offer. :)
Hey Atasha, this is Kay. Thank you for the recommendation. But you were also very good tenants. I hope I can visit you in the USA sometime
I love this house! The space And design ! Especially workshop area downstairs is awesome! I’d take it if offered!
Great video
Very nice Video
I like Urinals
Very nice
I understand that all accompanied military members must live in on/off post-government housing. How was this family able to get a private rental? Asking for a friend.
It all depends on Active Duty vs Civilian. Civilians can live off post in private housing. Only a handful of Active Duty live off Post, usually complimented with an exception to policy (ETP) or certificate of non-availability (CNA) letter.

Thanks for posting this information about civilians - and their option to live in privately rented houses.
Daniel, first I want to say We love what you are doing! We appreciate it, you are helping countless SMs and Civs.
Ok, you mentioned a possible ETP for offpost private housing for SMs, I'm tracking the CNA. Any more info/examples you can provide for the ETP? We will be PCSing in Aug to Graf.
@@keithw8739 Thank you for the support! The housing FAQ guide references an ETP on the third question about establishing eligibility as well as in the pet section - home.army.mil/bavaria/application/files/1916/1355/2514/FAQs_2021.pdf
Although, I'm having a hard time finding an actual ETP online at the moment. You may need to request one from housing itself when you arrive. I hope that helps 😬
As a civilian in a GS position, DOD pays for our PCS move, and we get LQA. We go through the housing office where private rentals are listed. We then choose which homes to look at and decide from there.
