The Russians don't need to reallocate forces from one sector to another. They already have a surplus of trained reserves that have not seen previous action. The Ukrainians don't have that luxury.

Commander - those are the NaTO forces tgat Russia is pushing (& burying) in the “Kursk”
According to some sources, the Russians have over 50,000 troops in the Kursk region now. If that is true, i doubt they are going to retake Kursk and simply stop there.

many of the troops in kursk are conscripts which i think russia has commited to NOT deploying those in the ukrainian territory, but i don't have a good source for you to reference, but it very well may stop there.
@@Worldturnedupsidedown Ukrainian or no, given the sudden enormous advances on the Kursk front, the logical conclusion is that either the Ukrainians are severely depleted or the Russians have an overwhelming advantage in force ratios.

Those clowns at the ISW are saying DPRK has several thousand troops in Russia currently training and that they may be deployed to UKR. They give zero evidence for these claims though, so it may be BS. We'll see. If it's true it's about an army division or so. If concentrated on a sector they could be quite effective.
There is a recent mutual defence pact between the two, so it's possible. I'd wager on it being BS though, e.g., the ISW has multiplied a few troops there for other reasons into a big, scary division of Kim clone super soldiers about to be unleashed upon the 'garden', i.e., Europe. 😁
P.S. Why would the ISW think tank make up BS about troops going to Russia? To create a narrative of Russian weakness and UKR success to sell to western elites, so the billions continue flowing to Kiev.
BTW. I do not like seeing war going on, but if it's true, then I am quite interested to see how they do. Their full time soldiers apparently train hard, but they have not had actual combat experience for almost 75 years, apart from the occasional border incident. Who would take bets on how good they are?
Either way, it will likely open up more trade for the DRPK. They have been under a tight blockade for decades. With more trade links they may get their economy going and improve living standards etc (they were literally starving under US blockade during the 1990s like it was a medieval siege, e.g., bend the knee or starve -- it's similar with Cuba that has been under blockade almost as long).
For the West, the DPRK is part of the new Axis of Evil narrative. So, any opportunity to fabricate sensational stories is welcome. Could it be that some DPRK guys with rank are observing combat operations? Could be. But a complete division? Nahhhh. Nope. Not happening. IMO
The billions have stopped flowing to Ukraine. The U.S. is already winding down Project Ukraine and will be focusing more on the Middle East and Taiwan, regardless of which part is in Office, next January. The proof of U.S. withdrawal from the project is the fact that neither Brandon nor Blinken planned to attend today's Rammstein conference. Their non-attendance rendered the conference redundant as no EU government was going to announce any extra aid for Kiev there. BTE, any DPRK troops in Russia will likely be working in factories ( as they have been doing so for years in Eastern Russia) to help fill the labour shortage caused by booming domestic demand.

15:10 Ukrainian counterattacks hadn't been seen outside of Kursk since the Kursk offensive began. I would bet the Ukrainians are withdrawing from Kursk to reinforce those sectors that have been neglected.

Where can I get quality combat footage from the Russian side? Reddit is just a million reposts of Ukrainian drone attacks. Anything a single Russian footage comes through it gets downvoted to hell with negative comments.
