So about a month ago I went to the swap meet near my house with nothing in particular that I wanted to get. And one vendor had had a box of cassette tapes on a tape with a bunch of other random items. So I look through the box and without knowing anything about it’s worth he had “the purple tape.” When I saw it I was like oh snap a Raekwon tape. Long story short I paid $4 for it, but unfortunately it didn’t have the case. I didn’t know it’s worth until I posted it on a Reddit page dedicated to cassettes that someone said that it was sought after in the comments.

Depends on the pressing as well… they did repress it, so the originals are worth far more. Nonetheless, congrats, great score !

Great video. What do you think about the Vinyl not having "North Star Jewels" on it. I am thinking about getting the Get On Down vinyl pressing because I love that song and think it brings the whole album together
