This video clearly shows the importance of: - context - understanding sarcasm - knowing that a lot of genshin players are causal and don't follow meta Zhongli was great for me when Ganyu was my main. He is still fantastic if I want to do dailies on my phone or mining. Sure he isn't meta but he is still great to have on your account.

People have their own way of fun. most of tenten and zajef viewers are the people that have fun playing meta. Just because you don't want to play optimally doesn't mean others don't. Genshin have one of the most in depth combat I've ever seen in a game like this. It's fun to learn about it and actually implementing it. If you don't want to play meta than it's fine, just don't mock people for liking it. We in the end are playing the same game, don't try having a higher moral ground while you enjoy playing this game while wasting thousand of dollars on just pixels cuz you're non the wiser.

Actual constructive criticism time Teams in Genshin mainly need to do a lot of damage quickly, hence why supports are so valuable and you're better off heavily investing into one or maybe two DPS units per team. Ayaka and Ayato have synergy for a Freeze team, but Raiden's Electro and Bennett's Pyro will steal reactions, leading to sub-par damage and CC- not to mention Ayaka's Blizzard Strayer doesn't proc as much. Ayaka's Burst *does* knock enemies back slightly if they're not frozen, which is why she's so good with Venti and Hydro supports in a Freeze team. You're better off circumventing ER issues with a support that has relatively high energy output like Diona or Shenhe, and the sustain issue with Kokomi, or if you really don't have any other options, Barbara. Obviously Anemo VV supports are an option if you have high enough ER in your Ayaka, because energy is a huge issue for her.

There's a couple issues with this response. I'll list just a few First and foremost C6 bennett: While this video has a ton more issues (some of which i'll talk about later, most of which I won't), the main thing I think you are consistently wrong about is c6 bennett. Even if you and your fans ignore literally everything else in this comment, this is the most important part in terms of the drama as a whole At this point in genshin, c6 bennett opens up far more teams than it gets rid of. Significantly more characters can become pyro carries, burgeon drivers, any character with a mleee weapon can also be used in mono pyro very well with c6 bennett If you actually want to recommend casual comps like you say you do, c6 bennett is an improvement to your account unless you really care that much about running specifically ayaka or eula or physical in general *with* bennett And even then, melt ayaka is improved by c6 bennett, and a lot of physical teams wouldn't even run bennett, especially eula This is also just completely ignoring the fact that hoyo keeps making characters who are just unaffected by the infusion Also, on field carry bennett is a super easy comp to build around and is very casual friendly The problem with you consistently saying C6 bennett is bad with the reasoning being just that "he turns off an entire comp" is that you blatantly ignore all the cool fun stuff you can do with bennett at C6. There's a very good reason significantly fewer people believe this even despite you trying to continue this rumor as long as you have It genuinely just seems like you can't admit you're wrong despite the fact that several people at this point have already pointed out in detail, why you are wrong. And yes, at this point what i'm saying isn't just about c6 bennett, along with the rest of the video and several videos and streams you've done before, this reflects really badly on you and it genuinely makes your content significantly harder to appreciate. Stuff like "I beat MoC without the broken characters like silver wolf or dan hen IL" despite using 2 of the best sustain characters in the game, or "ganyu is a support" despite ganyu being garbage as a cryo support outside of morgana where she's barely even a support and in every other comp, she is the most replaceable "support" in the game It's just consistently, people point out how you are wrong, and you just can't accept it at all. The issue with C6 Bennett is that if they ever release a future Physical character or character that is negatively affected by having their damage infused with fire, that those 2 are no longer compatible in the team. You mentioned that C6 Bennett enables new teams, which is definitely a huge plus. Ultimately it comes down to the individual if they feel the benefit of C6 Bennett teams outweigh the risk of not being able to use other potential teams.

Also, it was an account review I did while dodging teachers while in my free period on my phone in my senior year of highschool. It was all for fun lol. In my opinion based on my gameplay, Zhongli was very useful so I do agree the slander against Zhongli is unwarranted. Then again those meta slaves out there probably became outraged when other people who had him were having fun so I can see why there's all this b.s. going on.
The reason zhongli is still a top character is because he is free damage and tank for 1 slot if you don't have proper team comps for certain characters.... he is the 1 character that can make any comp work in any situations.... he is the best support character in game period because he can slot in any comp.... he is not a meta build but he is literally the best character in game.... Back when i am playing this game, i use zhongli literally on new characters just to level them up and get max friendship with 3 other new random characters fresh from the wishing page.... that is how good zhongli is.... you tell me which other support characters can do this with no casualties in the party.... the answer is there is no other characters that can do this...
the problem with the Raiden Ayaka Ayato Bennett team is that it does absolutely no useful reactions. If you removed Ayaka and but someone like Sucrose it could at least be called Soup. But like I don't get why you would even play this team in Abyss you could just do Raiden National on one side and a Ayato Ayaka freeze team on the other half.
Well who cares, You can either go chain lightning comp or freeze comp, but if you encounter freeze immunity mob then you can just switch Ayato raiden with chain lightning comp. It's fun and versatile and not just for tackling abyys, not to mention both Ayaka and Ayato can snapshot, so it's not that weird

But btw ayato his burst hits 35 times. 3hits reapply hydro and ayaka her ult hits a billion times perma freeze. raiden is too slow to unfreeze them long enough. This team has 40% def reduction plus bennet attack buff, plus 60% def ignore, er regain, plus shorter cooldowns for ult.
tbh zhongli is very good not because the shield durability.. i agree that u dont need that strong of a shield if u can dodge properly.. but zhongli shield has something that people often forgot.. he can reduce enemy elemental resistance which only vv artefact can do that time (even vv cant reduce anemo resist but zhongli shield does)
Thing is that that defense shred isnt that useful bc you and just put another character that will improve overall team damage so its not that useful unless Mobile player

Greetings Flippers and Tectonists, I can't help but to express my stance about this issue at hand with the state of Tectone being imprisoned because of his actions and opinions on the hit Action RPG game Genshin Impact. At first glance, getting imprisoned over a mere video game may seem nonsensical, but for the faithful fans of the content creator Tectone, it's an undeniable risk. UA-camrs caring this much over such a simple thing as a video game is a testament to how much dedication he has to this video game, which creates trust between the creator and its fans. You can never go wrong with a UA-camr trusting its fans and the fans responding to that said trust. Tectone might also be drilling in the concept to his fans that he will give attention to anyone and anything regardless of their actual relevance so long as it is about him. He is here to provide insights on things that don't need much attention. This very video is a proof of this. Tectowone might not be pregnant, but he is here to deliver. However, there is also the possibility of this matter being out of our control. As while this is merely just about a video game, this is still two people having difference in stances and opinions, which might ensue chaos and inevitably affect their respective communities. I advice for their fans to at least be civilized with regards to the reactions to this video, and to whether or not Teccy-chan gets imprisoned. And finally: meta player or not, casual or an Enviosity-level of grinding, both sides should always be viewed and considered. Meta players should not be criticized for playing too optimally, as that is their way of having fun. The same should be said for the casual players; they should not be criticized either for their way of playing the game. Overall, I sincerely hope for the best of both parties, and especially for Eggy, who is at risk of being imprisoned. I also hope that our fine folks at miHoYo, Hoyoverse, Cognosphere and the CCP will take action in this case and make sure that this trial is handled properly by the two sides. btw this reply isn't me siding with either take, i just felt like pointing out a contradiction. I believe certain characters (burst reliant) need to manage energy costs and use their bursts whenever its off cooldown for rotations to function, but i think ayato is not one of them personally, because his role as a hydro driver primarily lies with his autoattacks and the burst is just a nice bonus (unless we're talking off-field quadscaling morgana burst team but i dont like bringing ayato there).
I dont get it, how playing "meta" teams isnt playing for fun. Does this mean once I play certain teams I will automatically stop having fun? I dont think this is actually true because I played a lot of different teams and Im sure some of them coud be considered "meta". Yet I never noticed a drastic change of the fun I had in specific teams. Maybe my teams arent "meta" enough? What teams should I avoid playing to keep having fun? I really dont want to loose the enjoyment I get from playing the game. I, too, want to mock and make fun of people who play genshin impact not for fun but other reasons. But I want you to know that I dont belong to those people even though I have played "meta" teams. Because I have fun while playing the game.

Seeing chat's reaction to "ayato ayaka raiden" being a bad team i'm almost convinced they're trolling but this is why it's a bad team for anyone who really doesn't care enough about Genshin team building (because it's that easy anyways i guess). Raiden takes a good amount of onfield time for her burst, between her and Ayato field time it will be really awkward. She is also applying shit ton of electro. Electro for this team does really more harm than good. Electrocharged damage isn't impressive and you don't even have anemo to double-swirl hydro and electro for that. If you apply electro to a frozen enemy, they will not remain frozen thus making Ayaka a bit dysfunctional because her burst won't stop in place and she won't get the blizzard strayer buff. In terms of energy recharge, it's not bad because of Raiden, but it's not good either. If you have C6 characters, i'm sure it's not a "bad team". But let's be honest the average person doesn't have all C6 characters o.O Even Tectone took a while to complete a certain recent abyss with C6 characters, because he actually had no idea how to use them. I've seen C0 characters clear faster. It shows that even in this piss easy game, you need at least some level of structure (until Neuvillette, beam go brrr)
@@NatsuDragneel-qp5no an Ayaka ult that isn't properly buffed (VV, TTDS, Noblesse etc) and isn't against frozen enemies (you press Bennett Q and Raiden Q right after) doesn't actually do that much damage Raiden Q in this situation does have Bennett buff, but if you're on C0R0 Raiden, it's really not that good. If you have enough raw damage on the Raiden because you're on C2R1 Raiden, you're much better off running proper Raiden supports like Kazuha and TTDS Lisa/C6 Sara Not to mention, your rotation is completely fucked because a) these characters are not generating that much energy for each other, and b) you have 3 units that wants field time investment. This means that you're probably only bursting every 30s or more. Proper Ayaka teams and proper Raiden teams can use their (properly buffed) bursts every 20-22s.

I can't decide what's funnier, Tectone defaulting to "Hurr people playing for fun" as some kind of blanket defense for his dogshit takes, or him taking the dude playing a character doing a satirical video seriously when he does this for literally every big Genshin CC. Almost like it's a running skit on his channel or something.
Misconceptions in the video (edited in response to comments): With the right information and minimal time investment (like 1-2 hours of research), theorycrafting can increase your damage by quite a large factor(depending on how off-meta you were originally). Artifact grinding requires exponentially more time investment (like years) to get the same increase in damage. Artifact farming is also not fun, even for the casual audience. Pick one. Electro was fine before dendro, just becasue a character was electro didn't mean they were going to be bad. It definitely needed the transformative reaction buff but after that it was just misinformation. Bennett c6 will ruin 2 (or 3) teams: Keqing, Eula, (and bennett hyper, next paragraph). Both of these characters have alternatives that are close to equal or better without bennett. It DOESN'T "ruin" Ayaka because her best teams don't use bennett (besides her speedrunning team, and even then it's not a huge issue). If you don't care about optimal teams, then you won't care about bennett "ruining" them either. Ironically, the best team bennett c6 ruins is thundering fury/melt bennett hypercarry. He also is bad with any future character who wants atk buffs but not pyro infusion. We have not had such a character since eula, and there are no leaks of upcoming characters that have this problem (this doesn't prove too much so do with it what you will). Bennett c6 actually enables an extremely powerful team (even at terrible investment): razor/emc, c6 bennett, xingqiu, dmc/nahida. If you're about to say "no way razor is that good" go watch zajef's video on it. Unironically this is the most fun team I have ever played and it can be made with only 4 star characters. Yes, c6 bennett is required and irreplaceable. Tartaglia is good because he is irreplaceable in international (childe xiangling bennett kazuha), which is likely a top 5 team contender. His ceiling is equal or higher than many others. However if you play the team incorrectly you lose massive amounts of dps. Raiden Ayato Ayaka Bennett is bad because you are taking what are likely your best characters (on a f2p account) and putting them on a single team. This utterly cripples the second team you need for abyss (on top of having relatively little synergy). These four characters could easily be split into two separate teams (i.e. raiden hyper and ayaka freeze), both of which would be more powerful and less costly than the aforementioned team. Favonius is better than iron sting on kazuha because your burst is more than 50% of your damage, and not bursting every rotation is an egregious dps loss. If you don't care about dps, why are you even using iron sting, just stick with the dull blade that he comes with. You put in the same amount of effort for a subpar result. Zhongli is an interesting case. In general I judge the "power level" of a character to be the degree in which they can push you to one of these thresholds: clearing abyss 36* at all, clearing comfortably, and speedrunning as fast as possible. Most "good" characters provide all 3 or at least 2. Zhongli does one (clearing comfortably), and absolutely fails at the other two. If you fail the dps check, zhongli will not help (with some exceptions, such as having literally no-one else to replace him with, using xiao or possibly hu tao, or extremely niche enemy scenarios). Zhongli in speedrunning is useless for obvious reasons (most mobs die before they start their attack cycle). But, he excels at making your team comfortable. For that he's the best in the game. Fav isnt strictly better than iron sting, this is team dependent 9. Saying that meta doesnt matter when you reach a certain dps threshold isnt really true, and viable isnt the right word, he is always viable, just never the best option, outside of neuv teams currently. He's also very solid for teams like double hydro hu tao and xiao, having very competitive output with other more offensive focused options, ive been a zhongli doomer since day 1 bro, and you got me defending him, he's mediocre overall but calling him unviable is just as wrong as the people saying he's the best character in the game.

So there are niche situations where the comp can be extremely good. 8. Fav is always better for kazuha unless u can meet his ER requirements through sub stats and other favs on the team. A fav + EM sands build gives more EM than a iron sting+ER sands as well.
Tectone kept saying Flip is so dumb but if you really think about it, everything that Flip said in the video are correct. I know Tectone have already realized that some things he said in the past was wrong. You can see it the way he reacted. I don't agree with Flip's strong choice of word but what he said are facts. And Tectone holds much following so he has to do better when it comes to forming opinions especially if talking about optimal gameplay. Disinformation and misinformation in any setting -even in small community like Genshin shouldn't be proliferated. I’m going to be completely honest, even though it was a year ago, this man is making the genshin combat system seem more complicated than it is. Having a team of high damage units is not bad at all and also I remember people would use the “worst characters” in the game and still clear content so I don’t know why this guy was making a big deal over it.

Honestly what Tectone is saying about C6 Bennett is... Wrong specially at this point, I mean, being able to apply pyro which would affect the rest of your compositions isn't very bad at all and it doesn't affect compositions at all, in fact Bennett has started to feel a little bit out of league since dendro arrived.
c6 bennett is so good that instead of disabling ayaka it enables a whole new archtype cvalled ayaka melt, in normal ayaka melt without C6 bennett you can't even basic because then you'd override the pyro aura, but with C6 bennett you have that extra DMG, like what is tectone blud talking more than disabling teams C6 bennett freaking enables them, if you don't want to use him in X team you just, don't, but if you happen to want to do pyro attacks for any team (like ayaka or razor in his recent dendro team), you can, it's totally the opposite of what he said, nowadays C6 bennett is only bad for Eula, but guess what, bennett is not that good with eula because her burst explodes after bennett's buff is over (most of the time) anyways, you just use her with another electro, hydro and cryo characters 💀💀

If I say it as, "The more enemies are getting hit, the more damage each individual enemy takes", and maybe just follow it up with a clarification of "So if I attack two hilichurls at the same time, I'll take half the time to kill both hilichurls compared to the time it would take to kill only one hilichurl." Or if I don't care about what it means and just want to explain the practical application, I could just say "AoE attacks are better than single target attacks when fighting multiple enemies - the more enemies, the better - but generally worse against single enemies. Damage that scales quadratically are even worse than AoE attacks against single enemies, but get very drastically better as the number of enemies increases." It's a very basic idea that makes you sound dumb if you don't say you don't understand it
To Tectone’s opinion of c6 bennet. It is a valid one, however, I myself, a self proclaimed semi-casual, did it for 2 reasons. 1.I hated the ! on the character icon. 2. I wanted to make myself consider other teams that don’t include bennet. It lets me use more than just bennet for different situations.
C6 Bennet is not really that bad, u can't play him with phys teams, Razor, Keqing, Ayaka, Eula and c6 Kazuha. Rest infusion characters can't be overwritten. And rest of the characters it does not matter. But I get your point that having option to use him everywhere is overall better.

There's actually another person with a video about how C6 bennet isn't as bad as people make it out to be. This person didn't try to clown on other content creators with it, tho. For example, while it reduces Eulas' normal attack damage, it still buffs her burst and elemental skill damage as the damage of the physical portions will stay physical and receive the large attack buff. The same ends up going for Ayaka and Keqing. Meanwhile, some characters infused normal and charged attacks can't be overridden by bennets' c6 burst so it doesn't hurt them at all, and actually buffs them outside of their period of self infusion C6'ing him ends up giving primairly a buff to pyro attack teams in the long run from the pyro damage bonus. secondarily, a moderate buff to infusers that can't be overridden or non-physical based kits and diverts the damage focus for physical based kits. It's a way to look at it. If you care more about normal attacks, then c5 bennet is better, but for elemental skill and burst focuses, c6 bennet isn't harmful.
The problem with c6 bennet isnt a problem anymore but it was back then since we wouldnt know if it would ruin future chars synergies back in like 1.5/1.6, hoyo's prob heard about the bennet stuff and their way of fixing this was releasing chars that werent affected by this like raiden shogun, itto, ayato, cyno, etc

People sure got heated over it back in the day. Personally I stayed at c5 myself, not because of any complex reason really, it was just as simple as what Tectone said in the video. At c5 he was more flexible to fit into more teams. Since you can easily do everything and anything in the game, having flexibility to swap things up and just spice up things with random combos is great!

Actual constructive criticism time
Teams in Genshin mainly need to do a lot of damage quickly, hence why supports are so valuable and you're better off heavily investing into one or maybe two DPS units per team. Ayaka and Ayato have synergy for a Freeze team, but Raiden's Electro and Bennett's Pyro will steal reactions, leading to sub-par damage and CC- not to mention Ayaka's Blizzard Strayer doesn't proc as much. Ayaka's Burst *does* knock enemies back slightly if they're not frozen, which is why she's so good with Venti and Hydro supports in a Freeze team.
You're better off circumventing ER issues with a support that has relatively high energy output like Diona or Shenhe, and the sustain issue with Kokomi, or if you really don't have any other options, Barbara. Obviously Anemo VV supports are an option if you have high enough ER in your Ayaka, because energy is a huge issue for her.

First and foremost C6 bennett:
While this video has a ton more issues (some of which i'll talk about later, most of which I won't), the main thing I think you are consistently wrong about is c6 bennett. Even if you and your fans ignore literally everything else in this comment, this is the most important part in terms of the drama as a whole
At this point in genshin, c6 bennett opens up far more teams than it gets rid of. Significantly more characters can become pyro carries, burgeon drivers, any character with a mleee weapon can also be used in mono pyro very well with c6 bennett
If you actually want to recommend casual comps like you say you do, c6 bennett is an improvement to your account unless you really care that much about running specifically ayaka or eula or physical in general *with* bennett
And even then, melt ayaka is improved by c6 bennett, and a lot of physical teams wouldn't even run bennett, especially eula
This is also just completely ignoring the fact that hoyo keeps making characters who are just unaffected by the infusion
Also, on field carry bennett is a super easy comp to build around and is very casual friendly

The issue with C6 Bennett is that if they ever release a future Physical character or character that is negatively affected by having their damage infused with fire, that those 2 are no longer compatible in the team.
You mentioned that C6 Bennett enables new teams, which is definitely a huge plus.
Ultimately it comes down to the individual if they feel the benefit of C6 Bennett teams outweigh the risk of not being able to use other potential teams.

the problem with the Raiden Ayaka Ayato Bennett team is that it does absolutely no useful reactions. If you removed Ayaka and but someone like Sucrose it could at least be called Soup. But like I don't get why you would even play this team in Abyss you could just do Raiden National on one side and a Ayato Ayaka freeze team on the other half.

This team has 40% def reduction plus bennet attack buff, plus 60% def ignore, er regain, plus shorter cooldowns for ult.
tbh zhongli is very good not because the shield durability.. i agree that u dont need that strong of a shield if u can dodge properly.. but zhongli shield has something that people often forgot.. he can reduce enemy elemental resistance which only vv artefact can do that time (even vv cant reduce anemo resist but zhongli shield does)
He's still useful for phys, geo and dendro shred so Flip is hard coping.
Thing is that that defense shred isnt that useful bc you and just put another character that will improve overall team damage so its not that useful unless Mobile player

I can't help but to express my stance about this issue at hand with the state of Tectone being imprisoned because of his actions and opinions on the hit Action RPG game Genshin Impact.
At first glance, getting imprisoned over a mere video game may seem nonsensical, but for the faithful fans of the content creator Tectone, it's an undeniable risk. UA-camrs caring this much over such a simple thing as a video game is a testament to how much dedication he has to this video game, which creates trust between the creator and its fans. You can never go wrong with a UA-camr trusting its fans and the fans responding to that said trust.
Tectone might also be drilling in the concept to his fans that he will give attention to anyone and anything regardless of their actual relevance so long as it is about him. He is here to provide insights on things that don't need much attention. This very video is a proof of this. Tectowone might not be pregnant, but he is here to deliver.
However, there is also the possibility of this matter being out of our control. As while this is merely just about a video game, this is still two people having difference in stances and opinions, which might ensue chaos and inevitably affect their respective communities. I advice for their fans to at least be civilized with regards to the reactions to this video, and to whether or not Teccy-chan gets imprisoned.
And finally: meta player or not, casual or an Enviosity-level of grinding, both sides should always be viewed and considered. Meta players should not be criticized for playing too optimally, as that is their way of having fun. The same should be said for the casual players; they should not be criticized either for their way of playing the game.
Overall, I sincerely hope for the best of both parties, and especially for Eggy, who is at risk of being imprisoned. I also hope that our fine folks at miHoYo, Hoyoverse, Cognosphere and the CCP will take action in this case and make sure that this trial is handled properly by the two sides. What I am most expecting in this debacle is for everyone to be happy with the conclusion of this ongoing trial. And lastly, do not forget to be civilized, no matter which camp you are from.

btw this reply isn't me siding with either take, i just felt like pointing out a contradiction. I believe certain characters (burst reliant) need to manage energy costs and use their bursts whenever its off cooldown for rotations to function, but i think ayato is not one of them personally, because his role as a hydro driver primarily lies with his autoattacks and the burst is just a nice bonus (unless we're talking off-field quadscaling morgana burst team but i dont like bringing ayato there).

I dont get it, how playing "meta" teams isnt playing for fun. Does this mean once I play certain teams I will automatically stop having fun? I dont think this is actually true because I played a lot of different teams and Im sure some of them coud be considered "meta". Seeing chat's reaction to "ayato ayaka raiden" being a bad team i'm almost convinced they're trolling but this is why it's a bad team for anyone who really doesn't care enough about Genshin team building (because it's that easy anyways i guess).
Raiden takes a good amount of onfield time for her burst, between her and Ayato field time it will be really awkward. She is also applying shit ton of electro. Electro for this team does really more harm than good. Electrocharged damage isn't impressive and you don't even have anemo to double-swirl hydro and electro for that. If you apply electro to a frozen enemy, they will not remain frozen thus making Ayaka a bit dysfunctional because her burst won't stop in place and she won't get the blizzard strayer buff. In terms of energy recharge, it's not bad because of Raiden, but it's not good either.
If you have C6 characters, i'm sure it's not a "bad team". But let's be honest the average person doesn't have all C6 characters o.O
Even Tectone took a while to complete a certain recent abyss with C6 characters, because he actually had no idea how to use them. I've seen C0 characters clear faster. It shows that even in this piss easy game, you need at least some level of structure (until Neuvillette, beam go brrr)

Raiden Q in this situation does have Bennett buff, but if you're on C0R0 Raiden, it's really not that good. If you have enough raw damage on the Raiden because you're on C2R1 Raiden, you're much better off running proper Raiden supports like Kazuha and TTDS Lisa/C6 Sara
Not to mention, your rotation is completely fucked because a) these characters are not generating that much energy for each other, and b) you have 3 units that wants field time investment. This means that you're probably only bursting every 30s or more. Proper Ayaka teams and proper Raiden teams can use their (properly buffed) bursts every 20-22s.

Misconceptions in the video (edited in response to comments):
With the right information and minimal time investment (like 1-2 hours of research), theorycrafting can increase your damage by quite a large factor(depending on how off-meta you were originally). Artifact grinding requires exponentially more time investment (like years) to get the same increase in damage. Artifact farming is also not fun, even for the casual audience. Pick one.
Electro was fine before dendro, just becasue a character was electro didn't mean they were going to be bad. It definitely needed the transformative reaction buff but after that it was just misinformation.
Bennett c6 will ruin 2 (or 3) teams: Keqing, Eula, (and bennett hyper, next paragraph). Both of these characters have alternatives that are close to equal or better without bennett. It DOESN'T "ruin" Ayaka because her best teams don't use bennett (besides her speedrunning team, and even then it's not a huge issue). If you don't care about optimal teams, then you won't care about bennett "ruining" them either.
Ironically, the best team bennett c6 ruins is thundering fury/melt bennett hypercarry. He also is bad with any future character who wants atk buffs but not pyro infusion. We have not had such a character since eula, and there are no leaks of upcoming characters that have this problem (this doesn't prove too much so do with it what you will).
Bennett c6 actually enables an extremely powerful team (even at terrible investment): razor/emc, c6 bennett, xingqiu, dmc/nahida. If you're about to say "no way razor is that good" go watch zajef's video on it. Unironically this is the most fun team I have ever played and it can be made with only 4 star characters. Yes, c6 bennett is required and irreplaceable.
Tartaglia is good because he is irreplaceable in international (childe xiangling bennett kazuha), which is likely a top 5 team contender. His ceiling is equal or higher than many others. However if you play the team incorrectly you lose massive amounts of dps.
Raiden Ayato Ayaka Bennett is bad because you are taking what are likely your best characters (on a f2p account) and putting them on a single team. This utterly cripples the second team you need for abyss (on top of having relatively little synergy). These four characters could easily be split into two separate teams (i.e. raiden hyper and ayaka freeze), both of which would be more powerful and less costly than the aforementioned team.
Favonius is better than iron sting on kazuha because your burst is more than 50% of your damage, and not bursting every rotation is an egregious dps loss. If you don't care about dps, why are you even using iron sting, just stick with the dull blade that he comes with. You put in the same amount of effort for a subpar result.
Zhongli is an interesting case. In general I judge the "power level" of a character to be the degree in which they can push you to one of these thresholds: clearing abyss 36* at all, clearing comfortably, and speedrunning as fast as possible. Most "good" characters provide all 3 or at least 2. Zhongli does one (clearing comfortably), and absolutely fails at the other two. If you fail the dps check, zhongli will not help (with some exceptions, such as having literally no-one else to replace him with, using xiao or possibly hu tao, or extremely niche enemy scenarios). Zhongli in speedrunning is useless for obvious reasons (most mobs die before they start their attack cycle). But, he excels at making your team comfortable. For that he's the best in the game. However, if you keep dying, pulling an entire limited 5* for a redundant feature on all characters (just dodge) is a decision with only subjective value at best. And when you tell that to a community centered on math and numbers, it obviously doesn't bear much weight.

3. Bennett whether c6 or not would ruin a keqing team because pyro removes the quicken aura, at c6 its worse obviously, but he's still not a character you bring regardless, now in the context of the video, which was before dendro, sure.

5.Tfurry can acually be one of the best comps against specifoc situations. For example,in aoe with enemies that dont get staggered easily,Tf is one of the better comps to use in the game. So there are niche situations where the comp can be extremely good.
8. Fav is always better for kazuha unless u can meet his ER requirements through sub stats and other favs on the team. A fav + EM sands build gives more EM than a iron sting+ER sands as well.

Tectone kept saying Flip is so dumb but if you really think about it, everything that Flip said in the video are correct. I know Tectone have already realized that some things he said in the past was wrong. You can see it the way he reacted. I don't agree with Flip's strong choice of word but what he said are facts. And Tectone holds much following so he has to do better when it comes to forming opinions especially if talking about optimal gameplay. Disinformation and misinformation in any setting -even in small community like Genshin shouldn't be proliferated. I don't think Flip reacting to his videos and using them to debunk went far coz Tectone does it too.
I’m going to be completely honest, even though it was a year ago, this man is making the genshin combat system seem more complicated than it is. Having a team of high damage units is not bad at all and also I remember people would use the “worst characters” in the game and still clear content so I don’t know why this guy was making a big deal over it.

Honestly what Tectone is saying about C6 Bennett is... Wrong specially at this point, I mean, being able to apply pyro which would affect the rest of your compositions isn't very bad at all and it doesn't affect compositions at all, in fact Bennett has started to feel a little bit out of league since dendro arrived.
c6 bennett is so good that instead of disabling ayaka it enables a whole new archtype cvalled ayaka melt, in normal ayaka melt without C6 bennett you can't even basic because then you'd override the pyro aura, but with C6 bennett you have that extra DMG, like what is tectone blud talking more than disabling teams C6 bennett freaking enables them, if you don't want to use him in X team you just, don't, but if you happen to want to do pyro attacks for any team (like ayaka or razor in his recent dendro team), you can, it's totally the opposite of what he said, nowadays C6 bennett is only bad for Eula, but guess what, bennett is not that good with eula because her burst explodes after bennett's buff is over (most of the time) anyways, you just use her with another electro, hydro and cryo characters 💀💀

It is a valid one, however, I myself, a self proclaimed semi-casual, did it for 2 reasons.

C6 Bennet is not really that bad, u can't play him with phys teams, Razor, Keqing, Ayaka, Eula and c6 Kazuha. Rest infusion characters can't be overwritten. And rest of the characters it does not matter. But I get your point that having option to use him everywhere is overall better.

You can say the devs agreed that since going forward, they made Infusions unable to be overwritten. Thus, being able to be used with Bennett again. There's actually another person with a video about how C6 bennet isn't as bad as people make it out to be. This person didn't try to clown on other content creators with it, tho. For example, while it reduces Eulas' normal attack damage, it still buffs her burst and elemental skill damage as the damage of the physical portions will stay physical and receive the large attack buff.
The same ends up going for Ayaka and Keqing. Meanwhile, some characters infused normal and charged attacks can't be overridden by bennets' c6 burst so it doesn't hurt them at all, and actually buffs them outside of their period of self infusion
C6'ing him ends up giving primairly a buff to pyro attack teams in the long run from the pyro damage bonus. secondarily, a moderate buff to infusers that can't be overridden or non-physical based kits and diverts the damage focus for physical based kits.
It's a way to look at it. If you care more about normal attacks, then c5 bennet is better, but for elemental skill and burst focuses, c6 bennet isn't harmful.
The problem with c6 bennet isnt a problem anymore but it was back then since we wouldnt know if it would ruin future chars synergies back in like 1.5/1.6, hoyo's prob heard about the bennet stuff and their way of fixing this was releasing chars that werent affected by this like raiden shogun, itto, ayato, cyno, etc

At c5 he was more flexible to fit into more teams.
