You really bring life to these beauty histories!! I am so impressed with the continued innovation and ingenuity of the Vuitton family. I need that Noe bag for champagne! Talk about extra 😆
Thank you!! How extra is that Noé bag? 😂
So interesting about the counterfeit problems from the beginning! Another great deep dive
Thank you!
Thank you, All, I especially love to hear about people who start from the bottom (and in this case even less), that get to the top, this Is always inspiring. BTW, you can see LV suitcases in Downtown Abby, Crawley family was using them :).
Oh gosh I need to go rewatch that now!! How fabulous! Thank you for telling me.
Louis Vuitton is one of my favorite luxury brands if, not my only favorite. I love the history of how it all began. I own a couple of pieces. My favorite one is my multi colored Takashi Murakami speedy bag.❤
Oh lovely ❤ So glad you enjoyed this.
Hey Alli! Thank you for sharing another video of fashion history! I am actually catching up with all the ones that you have loaded in the previous months 😊 this video was very interesting and the history of Louis Vuitton it’s actually inspiring to me! I recently quit my full-time job to pursue my passion of make up and beauty! I own a cross body small bag and belt from LV. Have a wonderful day 😘
Hi Chiara! I hope your new adventure is amazing 🥰
Thanks for such a rich inspiring series, as always Ally… what a great story-from rags to riches!! I just love this content! Best IMHO on Utube! *But I’m a big history buff! Fun fact, I’ve just never cared about buying super ‘rich’ hand bags! 😂 Give me a Bagallini and I’m happy! PS: your makeup looks so fresh and springy!
Thank you! I agree actually when it comes to handbags. I would rather wear Longchamp bags and spend my money on vacations.
@@AllisonChase exactly!! ❤️
Thank you for this video! Love listening to them while running 😅 Though I must say it took me 2 days to understand that “Gelge” that I kept hearing you say was George 😊 Thank you for the effort Alli!
Haha that’s funny! Thanks for watching 🥰😘
So interesting to hear how he worked his way up from nothing. Such a fascinating story.
It really is!
Thanku for another gr videa Alli…👍👍
My pleasure 😊
The idea of a 1870s fake Louis Vuitton bag is so funny to me in a way, truly a curse from the beginning. The monogram design certainly didn't help in the end.
Right? I was so shocked. Poor Louis 😂
Hi Alli! I was waiting for the first Friday of the month - I cannot stress enough how much I love your beauty history! So interesting, looove listening to you! ♥️ Thank you for your massive research and work you do for us!
Thank you so much Elena 🥰 I’m glad my work doesn’t go unnoticed 🥰
Outstanding history.Love how well you narrate it, and all the information you gathered.Congratulations! Look forward for the next serie♡
Oh thank you so much Ruth 💖
Very informative and well narrated! A lot of these famous people started out with a not so great childhood. I had to laugh when you said he “Flinstoned” his way 😂
He did “Flintstone” himself to the city if lights 😂😂
Alison…this dialogue of LV is uniquely interactive . Thank you for passing along an intriguing story of LV’s life.
Thank you so much!
Love this series!
Thank you 😊
Nicely done Allison. Very informative, loved it!🥰
Thank you 😊
Really great episode Ally!! I love Louis Vuitton 💖
Thank you Laura 💖💖
Hi Alli 💜💖 thanks for another great history lesson!
Thanks for watching Charli 😘🥰

Merci! ❤️
Loove how entertaining are you videos 💙💙❤️❤️
Thank you 💖
Another fab lesson lovely Alli xx
Thank you Eileen 🤎🤎🤎
Hello Allison, can you please do Tom Ford next?! 😍😉
I don’t like to cover people who are still alive 😂
@@AllisonChase 😂👍

Loved it brilliant 👏 Gill 🇬🇧 xoxo
Thank you so much Gill 🤎🤍
pradaaaaaaaaa
🥰🥰🥰
Thank you for another great episode! I always love hearing this story and the origin of the classic styles. I heard the Noe bag is designed to fit 5 bottles of champagne. Four in the corners and one upside down in the center 😜
Oh my gosh!! We should test that theory 😂 do you have one?
@@AllisonChase hahaha 😂 I wish! I have the champagne, now all I need is the bag…
@@SofiaSeesBeauty we’re half way there 😂
Yay!!!
Thank you 😊💖
Allison, another great history video! Love LV so very interesting hearing about his childhood and how the company began. “Always going to the son-in-law after owners death” I love when you comment on that. I’m thinking the same thing 😆. And counterfeiting from the beginning so sad. I look forward to your next history video!! 😊❤️
Isn’t it wild? LV has been cursed with counterfeits from the very beginning.
Like all of your beauty history recordings, this was a pleasure to listen to Alli. What a rags to riches story! Agreed patriarchy sucks. I have two LV bags, a Pochette Métis in black monogram Empreinte leather and a Croisette in LV monogram. How I’d love to have one of those stunning trunks in Damier or LV monogram. 👌 After I listened to this last night, I played the beauty history playlist yet again, you should be very proud of your accomplishments, the series is informative and worthy. Thanks so much Alli. 😀👍🏾Deb
Thank you so much Deb 💜💙 I’m so glad I’ve found a niche group here on UA-cam who love this content as much as me.
Thank you for making this video. I absolutely love LV and own several items
My pleasure! Which items do you own?
@@AllisonChase I have the speedy 30, the Siena handbag, a wallet, the key pouch and cosmetic pouch
Very interesting. Thank you for your video!!!
My pleasure! 💖💖
Another great video! Love hearing about the history of LV. Makes me want to run out and buy something from LV. Thank you Allison! xoxo
My pleasure! 🥰
Great history on LV. I actually bought my first LV purse at Holt Renfrew Ogilvy in Montreal. One of the best experiences💕
Oh lovely! It’s such a great store.
👏👏👏 Bravo
Thank you Mia 💖💖
Awesome
💖
Can we have the Burberry history?
Good idea!
👏👏👏👏👏

Allison, I love these luxury history pieces.
I think it really adds to the value and understanding of why they are what they are, to this day. It’s upsetting to always here about the possible nazi collaboration.
I always wonder, if these brands really knew what was happening to the Jewish people? It’s scary to think about.
Im also amazed that it wasn’t until 2018 that they had there first black creator! It just shows how long it takes for things to really change.
I actually didn’t get interested in LV until late 2020. It was always the most boring brand to me, until I saw the spring collection, and it peaked my interest!!
I haven’t jumped on any purses yet, since I can’t settle on what design I really like. I do have several wallets, the 6 ring key holder, and the latest Kirigami set💕 The idea that these bags should last you “all your life,” was very appealing to me. As well as having a little bit of art with you wherever you go🤗
Hi! Yes it does get upsetting knowing how many luxury brands collaborated. Every time I do research I'm like please don't do it! 😂 It's hard to know how much they knew at the time but then again there were plenty of people in Europe who were resisting the Nazi occupation instead of helping them out.
I agree that luxury brands have ebbs and flows, thank goodness because it helps out our wallets!!
@@AllisonChase yes that’s true! Trying to give them the benefit of the doubt 🥴 but….!
Yes! And 100% agree! Haha💵
Hi !! Loved this video I own 4 LV bags growing up I dreamed of owning one, 2 Speedy bags Neverfull and a Neonoe✨
Oooh nice! You have a great collection.
Love love this one i am a huge fan of LV as well as Chanel but if theres a brand that beats everyone is LV :)
They’re so good!
As always, your research is very much appreciated! I could read Wikipedia, but it doesn't stuck as well, as someone narrating it with a very pleasant serving : )
Unpopular opinion: I never liked the LV pattern :D If I win the lottery and happen to want to purchase something from them, those things will be plain!
Whenever it comes to counterfeit leather goods, my heart breaks thinking about the amount of faux leather caused pollution. I strongly hope I live through the day, when producing such materials will become illegal, worldwide.
I hope so too! How interesting that they were basically "cursed" with counterfeits from the very beginning.
Great so we’ll done
Thank you 😊
