There were buses plying Nairobi-Meru route back then called Gathanga,ni za kutoka huko....is this place where we hear of Mukurwe Wa Nyagathanga??? Naona kama madam Rachel ako na gospel tracks tamu. Halafu Muchatha is home 2 the late musician Rugwiti Wa Njeri.
I dont think ni za uko, gathanga is a bird's name. Mukurwe Wa Nyagathanga is in Muranga
the busses were from here! zilikua zinaitwa Gathanga success. Kwa video, the owner's home was right before you got to the catholic church, on the right side

On weekends Gathanga was a site to behold when they came on Saturday night n Sunday they would line up the entire village center busy with carwash guys. Then early Monday mrng they would hoot when departing till next weekend.. nostalgic i tell u
