I have been doing mini twists every week for the past couple of weeks because it has been sooo hot in NC! This wash day routine is simple and easy to do with the assistance of some entertainment. Mini twist having saving my life on a weekly basis. Especially working at 9 to 5 I’m able to have my hair protected and unbotheredthe entire week. Thank you for sharing the tip about going back-and-forth, making sure to have an even amount of twists on both sides. I never thought of that!

I don’t have the arm stamina for mini twist! Lol 🤣😂 you should check out your mini twist video from like a year ago!- the growth, honey!
I have started using a handheld scalp massager while shampooing to help break up the product build up; I have been using Curly Proverbz beast mode DIY hair growth oil and stimulating the scalp helps to open it up and get it feeling refreshed.
Lol it does take some time! Yes, I look at that video frequently and I am still amazed lol. I have a shampoo brush that I fail to use every week but I may start back using it! 💕 I haven’t tried their products but I will be on the lookout for them!
New subscriber....you came up in my feeds so I clicked on it. I don't understand why people be throwing shade when it comes to shampooing in the kitchen sink. I need to get my sprayer replaced. I hate shampooing in the shower. I've been living in mini-twists as well for at least the last year. I take them down and put them right back in. One time I wanted to see my curls...that lasted a day and a half.
Yes! I have been a sink shampooer since I was around 5 lol. I have my hair in a perm rod set now and I am anxiously waiting to put my twists back in! 💕😁

Definitely not a you thing. I stopped washing my hair in the shower 5 years ago 😭 haaaate the feeling of shampoo/conditioner on my back. Feels like I’m rinsing my back for forever bc I can feel the residue on my skin lollll

I'm surprised at the # of ppl who have never washed they hair in the sink. ThT the only place my mom washed my hair. As a mom I was in thr sink but also in the tub.
My mom only washed my hair in the sink too! And she didn’t care how uncomfortable my neck was either 🤣🤣🤣

Now I can’t decide between trying the Shea moisture curl stretch pudding you use for twist or the butter cream you just used 😭 maybe I’ll buy both !
Lol I prefer the curl stretch pudding for twist outs and braid outs! I prefer the extra butter for mini twists! I hope this helps! 💕
