Hi Marc, so your using a 3000 grit FOAM pad in the video instead of using plain 3000 wet/dry. Is that because it's more forgiving and gentle to the surface? Is it safe to assume you used a foam pad when you did the 1500 grit sanding, as well? Any recommendations as far as which brand of pads you like? Thanks!
I love this series so far. I have one of these machines and it’s been inside all it’s life. And most of that has been private ownership. So it’s really in fairly good shape. The paint is vibrant and only has a couple very small dents. So I have a few questions. Is good original condition better than restored condition? I like it the way it is but I think it could be just that much better restored. Also where do you send your refrigeration unit for rebuild? Mine works well but I’m sure needs serviced and definitely needs an updated cord so I just want it to be safe to run. My last question is where do you get your parts from (seals, labels, vinyl stickers, etc)?
Sounds like you have a Great Vendo 39! Updating what you have would be not only better on insulation and maybe a better efficient compressor ! Value in a restored machine is what raises the cost because of the work to get the work done! Funtronis and soda jerk works and my two main suppliers ! If you have the original compressor still working but want to update to a more efficient compressor! That’s when I would pull the cabinet and re-insulate main cabinet! And also put in new drain tube Our next video series will be covering the cabinet insulation and drain tube!
Just bought a vendo 39 today and it has some dents on the top left and right corners of the door. Any suggestions on how to get these out with ease. Also where do you get your replacement parts? Thanks in advance for all of your help.
Awesome, like glass!!
Thanks Greg!😀
Looks fantastic
Thanks Buck!😊
Nice work. Actually better than nice!
Thanks Tony!

3m foam pad is my go to pad!
Mist a little water when using it!
I have done both but will always finish with 3000 on a 6 inch da pad
WOWWWW, very nice!! Can you give me the red and white color and brand so i can get some, I'm restoring a 1930's Westinghouse cooler.

Great 39!
Yes this can be done from the inside and tap the dent out! Should not be very hard!
I would take door off and remove back and insulation!
Such attention to detail……keep mentioning those products - they should give you that compound and the 3M pads!
What’s the actual names of the compounds that your using?
Infinity one
Infinity two
Infinity three
Liquid shine polish.
