Can we take a moment to appreciate that Rushu takes to calling Qilby his 'Little Flower' like they've been dating for a few weeks now and are in the Honeymoon Phase?
Dunno honestly, English is one of the worst ones, but maybe I think that because I understand it. But yeah French is obviously the superior one Well I mean, Qilby's voice in english is nice, it's just his voice acting that's really not that good.
@@johnderat2652 agreed. He did fine for Natural Qilby, but he should have REALLY played with his mania in this form. He sounded to subdued for his expressions.

Something I kinda "feel" when watching anime dubs instead of subs is that the actors in the dubs are like "dishonest", like I can feel they're not 100% in the character and they're kinda holding back. But the original japanese VA's really put everything into their performance, like All Might's VA's from BNHA, the dude is screaming his lungs out, his acting and performance is freaking crazy. Anyway, for anime's, the original VA's are always crazy good, the dubs tho ? not so much And that's the feeling I got with Qilby, his original VA, Erik Colin, acted so well, performed so well, it was so "honest", I didn't feel like he was holding back. I'm afraid Qilby won't get that magic again since Erik Colin passed away :/
@@johnderat2652 agreed fully. me and my friend almost didnt watch wakfu because of the dub- so glad she tried french. all of the VA put so much heart into their roles its
qilby's final battle with yugo was amazing i loved qilby's voice in Serbian dub it really suits him you should listen to it, somehow it feels in right place

As a french fan, The original is naturally my first option.

By the way, if the series ever gets a Japanese dub, i pretty sure they would let either Ryusei Nakao or Sanji's VA on Qilby.

God I love the German dub. It's my favorite
German dub is phenomenal. ALmost as good as the original.
