Hi there guy’s, I highly recommend to watch the full show from junior Eurovision 2022. However, The Junior Eurovision season 2023 is already started! At the 26 of November 16ECT will be the live show from nice! If you like the 2020 to show, you can watch the other one as well! And you can vote for your favourite country even if you not in Europe. Junior Eurovision is in my opinion better then the adult version these kids can sing really good and having fun on stage that’s the key!
A fun facts: in junior Eurovision, the songs must be at least 60% in there native language from there own country. Children form 9 to 14 can participate. Every county that’s officially member in the European union broadcast (EBU) can participate. Theoretically USA also can participate, but it’s probably not gonna happen. However Australia was from the beginning big fan of Eurovision that’s why they also participating in the adult version. Couple of years ago they participate also in junior Eurovision. However Kazakhstan participate also multiple times in junior Eurovision because they wanna join the EBU as member they are now Association. They are not allowed to join the adult version. Why they left junior Eurovision I am not sure about. From those countries around 40 country’s are invited every year, between 12 and 20 participate each year. The contest exist 21 years. The Netherlands is the only country that participate each year. A lot of countries withdraw because of money issues. It was Denmark idea however they (and all the Scandinavian countries) withdraw because they didn’t like the format anymore. “It gives children to much pressure.” Belgian isn’t coming back bc the lack of interest in the cost. Everyone is telling the ( junior) Eurovision haven’t to do whit politics but form my fan experience, that’s the case. Germany didn’t compete last year in Armenia because they have some restrictions against Armenia because of the war with Azerbaijan. And Azerbaijan didn’t compete in Armenia spontaneously they told from the start the day coming but didn’t accept the invitation.
