My most parasocial trait is being deeply invested in the Atrioc/Stanz/Ludwig-verse, and being very sad at hearing the formality Stanz has to talk about Atrioc's involvement with anything Offbrand. Thanks for the great event to the whole team, what a strong collection of people.
They have started doing streams together again which is awesome for them as friends. Ludwig’s chat just becomes very toxic on both sides whenever Big A is mentioned
Honestly same. Unfortunately it’s just the way the internet works, it’s gonna be a long while before they can do any big stuff together again.
A lot of people stopped listening to any updates on the situation after the first week of The Incident™, so they’re just gonna see him as “the deepfake guy”. And people get weirdly defensive and entitled about things that never had anything to do with them
same with many people. People are way too obsessed with this.
Kinda upsets me, cuz he dropped half a mill to help fix an issue that's effecting a lot of people. Which is far more than any other content creator who drops a slur or fucks up, has ever done or will ever do. But people still call him the deepfake guy. And ludwig and them won't stand on business about it.

Watched most of the event, Offbrand killed it! Awesome work raising money for charity. Stanz on camera was ELECTRIC.
And Adef is an incredible host! His GDQ Hotfix shows have so many good moments due to the chemistry and dialog he has with the runner and chat. Not to mention his countless appearances in the GDQ events. A GOAT on the couch, maybe you'll remember him after the 12th time you meet!
I loved the event! The one nitpick I have is that compared to the amazing sets for other recent Lud events (LudxTarik, Beerio, Brew Battles…) the set for this one seemed a little lackluster. Would’ve loved a chill vibe. The lights were a little bright, too.
Like I said, just a nitpick! Apart from that, I’d say this was the best event so far aside from Chessboxing.

What did happen at Fast50?
Daily Games slot was really fun! Whichever chatters helped suggest things for the custos must’ve been really cool and based lmao.
Genuinely such an amazing event though. I wasn’t sure how much I would actually watch, but I ended up being captivated throughout, even for runs I didn’t expect. I underestimated Peppa Pig and Titanfall 2 on the schedule, but they ended up being two of my favourite runs of the whole thing. Such a fun event, would love to see it make a return next year!!
What I think I loved the most, as someone who’s not really in the speedrun community, is how it wasn’t a really super serious event. I feel like a lot of the runs you could see peoples passion for their game. They’d change up stuff just to show things they thought were cool. It really made it feel less so about the times, and more a showcase of people’s communities, and I love that!
Monkey ball 2 speed run was entertaining. Impressive. Love the game too. Always takes me back.

Not mentioning Wirtuals run should be illegal. He is genuinely one of the best runners when it comes to these gdq-esque events, it's incredible
where did they stream it?? i wanted to watch but didnt know where and now i wanna follow for future events/streams but cant find where/who to follow?
This event was streamed on both Ludwig's youtube channel, and the Mogul Moves Twitch Channel (previously Ludwig). I think a safe bet to catch offbrand events would be on Luds channel unless it is made for a certain streamer, think CDawgVA's charity auction being on CDawgs channel. I believe if you want to catch up on the FAST50 event, the entire VOD can be found on the Mogul Moves Twitch channel. As well as that some runners have begun posting their timeslots onto their own channels.

I was pretty disappointed in how the Minecraft run was handled. Feinberg is a great ambassador but why was it taken as such a joke?
I think it was the crowd control aspect lol also it went way passed time and people got sick of it
@@ayyylmao5668 well they could have done no crowd control and ran the normal version for speedrunning and seen how many times feinberg could beat the game in a hour or something
@@LynelBow What you just said was the role of that one lady who was actually speeding Minecraft lol her role was to see how many times she could beat the game before Feinberg/Lud.
But the whole point of this is to raise money for charity. Crowd control allows people to get involved while also raising money.

Feinberg is the lebron James of Minecraft. If crowd control was a bit less powerful and he was on the main version it still would have raised the money and showed off his incredible skill.
Also, the other person who they had just running it separately is not a top runner and while running the latest version was not going to beat the game more than once. So it was a bit of a joke to even have that going on.

The “bit of a joke” to you is engaging for others. Engaging in both the viewers, and money raised. Not nerfing crowd control also allows Lud and the other speedrunner to try to beat Feinberg.
On a personal note, seeing how many times Feinberg could be the game in an hour sounds very stale too.

I really liked the SM64 relay.
IMO there was a bit too much silliness during some of the runs. Like the couch commentary was distracting from the speedrun and the commentary of the runners (in some of the runs).
BUT I think that more silly events inserted in between the runs would be great. Also Linkus is a fucking genius. He was great everytime he was on screen
Edit: my comment seemed a bit too negative. This was by far my favourite offbrand event and I watched most of it live trying to stay awake

If someone bullied you in school you won’t be friends with them and wont want to see them. If they then apologise later you can accept the apology and still not want to be friends or see them.
This is my feeling on Atrioc, cool he said sorry to some, not all, of the victims with some, again not all, of them accepting and helped get things shut down. Thats great, whatever, but he isn’t owed my viewership and I would avoid an event with him involved. Let him do whatever on his channel and people who want to can watch him and be involved there just let everyone else enjoy stuff without him in without all the bringing him up all the damn time
Yeah.. except Atrioc didn't fucking harm people directly as much as everyone pretends he did. The dude made a mistake and he has gone above and beyond to rectify it. That's more than 99% percent of people online have ever done or would be willing to do.
No one said he is owed your viewership. You have this weird sense of disdain for the dude it seems.
Also, "that's great, whatever" speaks volumes.
He would, objectively, make the event, especially for Speedrunning better. They would raise more money for charity which is the entire intent, and the value would go up. I think the event can lose viewership from people like you who are holier and thou.

It's crazy to suggest inviting Atrioc back to events. I get still being friends but his actions were unacceptable, and he should have no on-camera presence. Typical behavior for men to hand wave the bad behavior of their friends. This is why women feel uncomfortable in this industry.
Give me a break. It's very clear you either intentially are ignoring the last year of Atriocs efforts to rectify the situation, or you literally do not care to find out what he has done.
