*I'll update the animation every few days - depending on the developments. Please be respectful in the comments.* 💙🇺🇦💛
On the request of viewers - the map was finally changed to better show developments around Pokrovsk area - also, I've included residential zones around settlements. *Thank you for 60k subs!*
This animation is based on DeepState maps - and represents my interpretation of the movements of armies and frontlines. Therefore, it should be viewed as an approximation rather than an exact depiction.

I will ask again if you don’t remeber from last video😊 Can you make the attacking color on the kursk map blue, because it’s Ukraine attacking😉💙🇺🇦💛

For understanding.
The Ukrainian Armed Forces control 800 km² in the Kursk region. 800: is a square with sides of 28 kilometers. The area of the entire Kursk region is 29,800 km². All of Russia: 17,100,000 km²
на секундочку, они контролируют 430 кв км, это почти в 2 раза меньше, "серую зону" под контролем не нужно считать.
@@KillSandSniffs Уже 430.

All those thinks slow progress....remember its modern warfare between too armies not some horse riders...drones are the key players in this war..even tanks cant to anything against them..those who thinks Russians are slow...remember ukrine has supply from 32 countries..right now in world not even USA army is prepared too fight this kind of war..US and NATO knows this very well.. Russians really proved they are good warriors always no matter the type of war they will push back hard if its come too that...
This is literally first modern full-scale war... well, for Ukraine at least.
Lets put the Russia-Ukraine war in context against the Eastern Front during WW2. During the battle of Kursk, the Germans attacked into the teeth of a heavily defended salient against Soviet forces that outnumbered them by a significant margin. Despite this, they advanced 12 km in the north and 35 kilometers in the south, during an offensive that lasted only 7 days.
That rate of advance outstrips anything the Russian forces have been able to achieve during this war. Even with numerical and material superiority, they have not been able to gain anything more than tactical breakthroughs (which are quickly stopped by the Ukrainians moving their reserves).
The prevalence of ISR assets cannot explain this slowness; even with perfect intelligence of Russian dispositions, the Ukrainians should not be able to resist as well as they have. The prevalence of drones cannot explain this slowness either; pinprick attacks against point targets does not have a decisive effect.
The only explanation can be that the Russians are not proficient in maneuver warfare, due to leadership or training issues. Their inability or unwillingness to mass their forces to secure an operational breakthrough is another factor.
@@TheJamesrocket Do you need me to remind you who won World War II? The Germans may have been the best warriors in Europe, but the Russians always beat them.
@@TheJamesrocket Another difference is satellite surveillance from NATO, GPS guided munitions, Drones with night vision and thermal, satellites with infrared and night vision. It's not even comparable with old tech. Russia is fighting against technology from almost every NATO country, while advancing. Not to mention they only wanted the DONBAS region (the area Ukraine was shelling in 2014 (which Russia took very quickly and still has). If Russia wanted to conquer all of Ukraine, it would have been a much uglier scene, much more civilian casualties. There have been far more civilian casualties in Gaza (a tiny area) compared to the entire Russian invasion into Ukraine.
@Mamlukk Thats besides the point. The fact is that it is entirely possible for an attacking force to make rapid advances even against a fortified defender. But they have to be well trained and well led to do so.
The Germans did it in spite of their numerical inferiority during WW2. But the Russians are unable to do it in this war, even though they outnumber the Ukrainians. That tells us that they are doing something wrong.
Неплохо продвинулись, весьма динамично идут.
They may be going but you're calling this dynamic?
Does the word "dynamic" have a different meaning in Russian?
Don't forget that it's not WW2. Modern warfare is harsher and deadlier @uja11
@@uja11 Modern warfare is a logistical nightmare
@WeoXCY and yet the coalition steamrolled Iraq during desert storm whilst massively outnumbered
Big changes in the map, congrats 🎉
how many people were killed over these kilometers...
Спасибо за ваш труд! Отлично и подробно всё показано 👍

To Warmaps: Well done. Your illustrations are amazing and crystal clear. Please continue with the updates for us.
Хорошо то как )))
If Russia advances as much in the next six months as they have in the last six months, they will have reached the Dnieper and Ukraine will have lost the war.
Not that the AFU looks as though it can continue to fight fot another six months anyway.
Putin thought the AFU would collapse during his initial invasion look where that got him
Oh you know ukrainian media will still be like "we are winning the war , we killed 5,000,000 Russians this morning" even though multiple sources have proved that ukraine is losing
Fix the road above vozdyszvenka. It was captured few days ago and we got like 3 video footages of it beiing captured.
You're correct but keep in mind this is a representation of DeepState maps. I always want to, but rarely find time to compare the last day at the end of the video with another source.
mainstream news has not observed any changes on the battlefield
Way more successful than Ukraine's Kursk offensive

There are not 6296 people living in Novotroitskoe, most likely you have confused its population with Novotroitskoe in the Volnovakha district, 614 people live in Novotroitskoe in the Pokrovsk district accordin to Wikipedia (sorry for my English, i use a translator)
Its still too zoomed in. Southern flank of the salient can't be seen.
Its not Pokrovsk direction at that point

Nice map
The word "occupied" has to be changed to "liberated" !
learn English buddy, it's written correctly... once UA pushes aggressor out of their territory it will be liberation (I doubt that will happen though 😓)
@@peterh3213 Learn history, buddy.
@@peterh3213The aggressor here is the one who spat on all the agreements and the declaration of independence of Ukraine, the Minsk negotiations 2. Russia is only engaged in forcing the fulfillment of its obligations
bro, looks like you'll have to change the "Occupied before August 6" sign to a slightly closer date soon
The Donetsk offensive started around then, so no, he shouldn't change it.
Please mind using credible pro-Russian maps or at least geolocations. Deepstate is somewhat reliable but they can have massive gray zones or won't accept proved Russian advances. Other than small mistakes (like population of Novotroitske) the video is very nice and well prepared. 👏
Just checked and you are correct. There are at least 3 Novotroitske settlements in Ukraine. I can find the info for 2 of them, but not for this one west of Pokrovsk. Do you know the pop number of it? Thanks

Have you studied the topic? Have you read the "Treaty of Friendship, Cooperation and Partnership between the Russian Federation and Ukraine" or have you read "Minsk2"? Or maybe you've read the declaration of independence of Ukraine (the conditions under which it gains independence)? It is written everywhere that Ukraine undertakes to be a neutral and independent country and has no right to deploy troops and participate in blocs. My understanding is that the 2 sides were having peace agreements being negotiated. The problem was Russian speaking people were being oppressed and Putin didn’t like it. It seems suddenly Mr. Z refused negotiations and when invaded, he wanted to leave his country. Then he started demanding for the US to attack for him. I don’t understand why we ever took this man’s side. I wonder if he will ever admit that he may have made a mistake. Will he accept blame for the suffering and loss of his people? How could he think that God would be on his side?
quite literally russian propaganda talking points, i suggest you learn about the topic before forming some conspiracy driven opinion
In US elections, the question you always hear is, has life been better for the country with the current leadership? For them, I don’t think so. It looks like he listened to the wrong people and made bad decisions. I wonder if the whole thing could been avoided. Knowing the current reality, would he have made a decision to negotiate, or would you say he did the right thing? I don’t know any Russians but I think war is expensive and has consequences. A gamble to win or lose and I’m not a gambler. If it’s up to me, I would have peace with all men, like the Bible says. If I had no choice, then I would want to survive with the best outcome.
@jedirat4263 It's actually true tho. Zelenski was about to flee when the war started but the Ukrainians shot down/sabotaged the airplane he was about flee with and forced him to stay.
Learned about this by a Ukrainian woman staying with us for a couple of weeks. She said this wasn't shared on the news for obvious reasons but most Ukrainians should know about this incident.
@@KingMen1Forcehere in the USA, the news said the Biden administration told him that if he fled, the USA wouldn’t back him up. It’s sad that he would flee, but his countrymen must fight and many afraid, will die. There’s no going back in time, but I imagine the negotiations they were working on would have been better than the current outcome.

Russia is slowly taking over? Probably not slowly, but it requires a lot of sacrifices. I don't know how things really are, but absolutely everyone says that attack is much more expensive than defense, so everyone who watches this, do not forget that this is not a computer game where a couple of people break through hordes of enemies, but most likely hundreds, if not thousands of people die to capture another piece. I recently watched one person who says that the Russian military has only one tactic, to run as quickly as possible, stick a few wedges, and the territory between them is easier to capture. I watched this video and I see that this is true, no other tactics. I think the real skill of war is not using the same tactics and certainly not a bloody assault, as everyone says, perhaps it is better to retreat, survive and continue to fight, because the more losses the enemy has, the better? It is unlikely that the higher-ups value the lives of ordinary soldiers, how painful it is to watch this

Lemme get this right, this has been going on longer than Kursk, has more casualties, and has less land results?
God damn.
How do you know the causalities to compare ?
Difference is Russia is advancing on all fronts while Ukraine is advancing nowhere.
@@nikhilannur Videos of the offensives?
@@Voltaicz Except on Kursk, where they're able to (When accounting for losses across the WHOLE FRONT) halve Russia's gains, and still get a positive KDR.
Not gonna deny Ukraine's fucked, but they're doing good with context.
@@GastropodGaming2006 It has more land results (5 times more to be precise), casualties are disputed and it has been going for the same amount of time. It also has captured more and bigger settlements.
My question is this : if you are a Russ and this war has taken many of your sons and pushed you in dire poverty and now you see how easy is to advance would you stop at the Dniepr, at the Carpathians, at Oder-Neisse, at the Pyrenees or at Cabo de São Vicente ?

Along the border of Donbass, and yes, about "driven into poverty", this is already Western propaganda, life has become a little worse, but in general everything is fine as it was.
