    Absolutely love watching your videos. Especially the long-hauls that I've never flown. The land, mountains and pines in Canada up to Alaska are really something to behold. Definitely a frontier to be experienced in one's life.
    The aforementioned aside, sadly, it is still overshadowed by dishonest flight attendants and flight crews roping all passengers into compliance with their lies regarding federal laws and mask requirements. There is no federal law anywhere that requires, mandates, compels or even suggests that any person should or must wear a face mask. Period. That's it. As a paying consumer, if the company that I buy from begins to blatantly lie to me against my own legal and constitutional knowledge, my faith and trust are eroded completely. I will not stand for nor tolerate it. Needless to say, I've rid myself of several long shopped at businesses through this disaster. When the day comes that every passenger on an aircraft stands up and says 🖕 your face masks and 🖕 your illegal imposition upon paying passengers, that is the day that airlines will begin to change. People ate not going to be able to ask for, beg or plead for their God-given constitutional freedoms. It wouldn't be given and there isn't anyone who is going to come along and say, "OK, you can have your freedoms back". No! Every American is going to have to take their rightful freedoms. Neither the government, the airlines nor any other business gives us our freedoms. We are endowed by our Creator with the freedoms that we have. We have to take our freedoms back everywhere! It truly is so sad to see that our freedoms aren't even taken. We, as a society literally hand over our freedoms. History has very bad stories about doing this. This has to end. Its unnecessary. And it's a health hazard to everyone as seen from the Spanish flu in the early 1900s. Gotta take em' back! The sooner, the better. This cannot and must not be normalized.
    Definitely enjoy the flights to Hawaii. Honolulu. ...Oahu, my favorite island. Loved Kauai as well.

      I'm an honorary daughter of the American Revolution, so this is so refreshing to read your comment! I've also had to defend our Constitutional rights, as I'm totally blind. We used to live in a country that accomodated the blind without having to think about it, but sadly, that's not the norm anymore. Now, the abuse of our freedoms by big government and big business has forced us to take matters into our own hands. I and 14 others worked for a major delivery company for over 13 years, when they decided to cut our careers short, because they didn't want to be responsible for supporting us as they would our sighted counterparts. Although we won the battle, they still continue to carry out similar practices by denying others with disabilities and differences their rights. It certainly continues to be practiced by other companies, too, because greed and dispassion are more important than the law. We have more laws on the books than many other countries, and yet there is no oversight of these laws, because people are afraid to stand up in support of our Constitutional rights. I can't help but think of the title to a song by Pat Metheny and David Bowie:
      "This is not America"!
      "Sha-la-la-la-la."
      from: the Soundtrack to "The Falcon and the Snowman."

      You dont have the right to make others around you sick.

    • @TheAgentAaron
      @TheAgentAaron 2 роки тому

      @@IGoDwnTwn Sorry, US constitution does not address those who wish to impose upon others, restrictions, because you feel others may cause you to become sick. Those who are so afraid that they're going to be one sick may stay home, though regarding a virus, staying inside out of UV light and fresh air is the most medically irresponsible decision can make. Further, the US Constitution approaches citizens from a reasonable and rational angle. It assumes that people are wise enough and have at least a minimal level of common sense to know when to stay home due to illness.
      Face masks have proven time and time and time again to be complete ineffective at blocking any virus. They were not created to block a virus. Level 1, 2 and 3 face masks, which are most common, are designed to block splashes of saliva, phlegm, chipped tooth particles if dental and blood between patient and medical provider. They do not have the capability of blocking a virus. And, in fact, an equal number of peer reviewed studies have shown that face masks can and do cause harm to a person wearing a face mask for an extended period of time for example, doctors who attest to the fact that within about 30 minutes of wearing a face mask, some will experience shortness of breath, headaches and more. Accumulating carbon dioxide in the body is very unsafe. If face masks were effective, virologistscworking in biomass would have no need for full body suits with fresh oxygen separate from room air.
      Commercial airliners have HEPA filtration systems that would blow your mind. Truth be known and all conspiracy aside, it really dies not matter because viruses (something that has never been isolated) do not spread person to person. A virus is dead cell matter. A virus is dead. A good read is Under the Rainbow in which 100 subjects with flu were paired with a partner who was healthy. They all shared breath mouth to mouth and injected tears and other bodily fluids of the sick person into the healthy person. Care to guess how many healthy people came down with the flu? Exactly zero.
      And finally, because the US Constitution guarantees all American citizens freedom to move about freely and to not be restrained in any way (detainment and arrest not included) that means we all may go about as we so choose or wish regardless of what others may think. No weaponized commentary about one making others sick changes this. For that matter, should it be assumed that every person is sick since you don't have the first clue who may be and who is not? Sounds like a dystopia nightmare to me. The big aggressor in these matters is the airlines who seem to be toeing the line for the federal government which cannot impose a mask mandate of any kind because of our constitution. The airlines should not and technically cannot legally be imposing face masks under federal law because there is no such law that exists. If airlines want to accept upon themselves the responsibility in mandating face masks per company policy that is one thing. But they cannot fall back on a hypothetical, non-existent federal laws such that they can force people to wear a face mask. It is illegal. It is dishonest. It ruins their reputations and destroys their integrity. You can plan to hear this all played out in courts in coming months and years. Airlines are who stand in the way and are overstepping their authority - not some random person who might or not be sick that you claim has no right to get you sick. I can assure you, other than the federal government, no one is looking to get you sick.

    Do flight attendants still do physical safety video or is it on video only?

    • @sla31
      @sla31  2 роки тому

      Yes, a lot of flights/flight attendants still do the safety briefing manually. All Southwest and Alaska flights still have manual safety briefings. Most American flights also have manual safety briefings. Most of the time, it depends on if the aircraft has IFE in each seat. If so, the safety briefings are usually done electronically. So, airlines like Hawaiian, it's 50/50. Some of their planes have IFE, some don't. In the end though, there are still a lot of flights in the US with manual safety briefings.
