Across Oceans: Small Island Big Song's Residency at Wharton Center

Experience the transformative power of music during Small Island Big Song's residency at MSU, joining communities in a celebration of Asian and Pacific Islander cultures and a collective call to climate action. 🌏
During the residency, Small Island Big Song and Wharton Center reached over 100 K-12 students in their schools, 50 MSU students during class visits, over 100 members of the community through engagement events, and over 1,600 patrons during the Act One School Series and general public performances.
Wharton Center partnered with the Residential College of Arts and Humanities, MSU College of Music, Asian Studies, Native American Institute at MSU, Student Life & Engagement, LATTICE (Linking All Types of Teachers to International Cross-Cultural Education), Teacher Network, Nokomis Cultural Heritage Center, Pattengill Biotechnical School, and Murphy Elementary.
