Katherin Poon, pursuing a double major in Theatre Design and Psychology, applies both degrees in her work in costume design. Katherin’s goal is to become a designer, conceptualizing the costumes that will be created by the wardrobe department for theatre productions. She channels her passion for costume design in her roles as wardrobe technician and costume shop support, working with a designer to create all the costumes for MSU’s long standing tradition, Summer Circle Theatre.
In addition to her work with Summer Circle Theatre, she is also the president and artistic director of the student-run theatre organization, Second Stage productions. Second Stage is dedicated to helping students bring their theatrical visions to life through fully student-directed productions.
