El Camino Santiago Portugues on Bikes

We loved the Camino Santiago Frances so we decided to do it again on a different route. It was just as much fun and as interesting through Portugal and southern Spain. Which way next ?

We took six days at approximately 50km per day. A lot of it is fairly easy riding but there are some difficult sections too, which makes it interesting. We had a strong headwind when we set out along the coast which was hard work. The second day wasn't windy and much easier. Closer to Santiago there is some steep sections and some rough patches through the forests.
It would be nice to take more time and do less km per day but we only had a week.

How many days did it take, and what was the average mileage/kilometerage? We're studying which route best to take based on our fitness level (or lack of it).
