never thought it like that but you are correct and even while i dont like who kareem has become (pushing big p-harma scams).....i have kareem and timmy as my all time C and PF to go with jordan magic and bird (sg, pg, sf)
Why "forgotten"? I was a teen in Serbia in his prime years. Kareem was such an iconic player in the game of basketball that he cannot be forgotten. All over the world his name spelled "legend" then, as it does today.
I have been a math teacher in schools for a few years and the youth today dont know about his greatness, iagree tho older generations defininetly apprecitate him
The highlights are from the 76-77 playoffs. Kareem totally dominated the Golden St. series against a young Robert Parish who was 7ft. tall. He put up 40+pts 20+ rebs 4 times in the 7 game series. He won the series single almost by himself. In the next round the Blazers a great team but Kareem put up 40 on Walton averaged 30+ in the series. Bill was great but Kareem outplayed him in every facet of the game except assists. Jabbar outrebounded Walton and blocked more shots. Still the fake narrative the media put out "Walton outplays Jabbar". Not true. Bill Walton was the real deal before his injury. He was the best in the world next to Abdul-Jabbar. Period.
There is no doubt he was one of the greatest big men and helped and was the main part of his championships but goat is a player that is great at all categories or more than anyone else. Along with the other stuff like eye test. Being exciting to watch I guess you could say. Work ethics and the wil to win. The ability to jump and shoot from anywhere and free throws. Defense. He had a lot of these but he’s not close to being the goat. All these old school players up until the early 2000’s besides Kobe had the work ethic and will to win. But the top 3 scorers all have one thing in common and that is 20 plus years. This is why lebrons most points mean nothing bc he also has all these worst records or will have by the time he retires so his longevity hurts him. Kareem was a big man it it looked like he was playing with grade school kids and this is another reason why wilt and bill is not the goat. They had 11 teams and the ones with all the big men would win. Neither one could shoot but they were tough as hell and they are right a lot of players in todays era couldn’t play back then bc they are weak. Lebron would be a bitch bc most his points come within a few feet from the rim and there was no 3’s. MJ is the goat all day. He could do it all and his jumping ability and speed would kill the older players and would be easier in today league. He killed the best in his league which had the best of both worlds and all eras. He also played against Kareem for 5 years and MJ made it look easy. He also played against Kobe for about that span while Kobe was in his prime and he killed Kobe. Kobe killed LeBron so MJ for sure would. No doubt MJ the goat.
i would love to watch these highlights but cant do it with dudes face plastered on the screen...why is it that content creators think they have to be in the picture all the time? smh
@@antonio_brewer well great job then, there is room for improvement....go ahead and show yourself talking and then show the highlights and talk if you have to, you may want to try checking out the great videos done by sean david (@BTMBasketballTimeMachine)...his are fantastic and he speaks his mind and comments before going to the old school highlights...
Kareem is the Tim Duncan of GOATs. No flash, all excellence.
yeah totally agree with this, just straight buckets and dominance
Kareem was better than Jordan in his time!
@@JarvisYoung-i3r yeah there is definitely an argument he won so many titles and mvps it’s wild

Yeah MJ is definitely undisputed number one but I do believe that Kareem and lebron are right there, I have Kobe a little bit lower than those three
This is just biased rhetoric all the way through.
