I used to listin to this alot it used to be everywhere i have forgotten about this song but now i found it i have so mush memories thank you so much the memories
I used to listen to this when I was a kid I really love this song I always listened to this when something bad happened.... and I just now realized how related this song is to my childhood.
I remember that when I first heard this song I was riding in a van and I was 12 at the time and like I didn't speak english back then so like I didn't know what the song was about and like I can only remember hearing the "nananan" part and I really liked it, but now that I'm older and having lived in Ireland for almost 7 years I can understand every word and I absolutely love it, this is one of the best songs ever created
When I was younger this was my favourite song by sam smith. Everytime i heard it i just was in my own world and vibed to it. Especially the "lalala" part
Unlike some of the people here I don’t listen to this when my parents argue (I mean I do when my dad comes round just to argue with my mom but he doesn’t come round much anymore, luckily he’s never lived with us so they don’t argue much), instead I put my earphones in and put it on full volume to block out the sound of my mom yelling at me from downstairs, saying that I’m lazy, weak, can’t be bothered, useless and that I’m wasting my future. Little does she know that I am fighting to stay alive and I starting to lose.
When i listen to this song, i just think about the old times. My early childhood. I remember how my mom and i were listening to this in our car on our way to my kindergarten (it was my last year in there). It’s just the best song that i know.
funniest thing is listening to this on full volume with headphones/earbuds, and on the "im covering my ears like a kid" part, it blocks out all noise like you are covering your ears.
POV: your me here again after another fight with my dad cause this song is the only one that reminds me of my childhood and makes me feel okay about it
I remember when this la la appeared I asked my father if the singer had hiccups! It's been a long time. Since I can see how long I haven't heard this song anymore it hurts
1:00 Enough is Enough!... I’m covering my ears like a kid... You have to cover your ears at “I’m covering my ears like a kid” and sing along! Sheeesh bruh!
Man....I used to love this for the beat growing up, now I’m nearly 16 and all I do is turn up the volume when ever my parents try and hate me for trying to be me
This song is something I can relate to. My parents had gotten me a therapist for my depression and suicidal thoughts. Nothing has changed. My therapist don't fully hear me and thinks everything I do is a cope like DAILY THINGS is a cope, me not having friends at school, parents don't understand me at all, I listen to this everyday. This is something that helps me, everyone leaves me, friends family u name it. If I make even one friend they either go off and move or etc. I get way to attached to people in fear of them leaving and me never seeing them again. when I tell my parents how I feel they just say "enough with the negitive!!!" Or "STOP BEING SO NEGITIVE!!!", etc right in the middle of it. They act like they give a shit. But they don't. I fucking hate everything. I used to cover my ears and say "LALALALALALA" very loud to block out the "negitive" as my parents say. I still do this to block out my suicidal thoughts and it works the more I turn the volume up on my phone and cover my ears and whisper "lalalala" at the same time the boy dose in the song, I realize that sometimes I notice that I rock myself back and forth as I do it. I'm comforting myself sience no one else will bc their to "busy" and the more the thoughts fade and disappear, I do this every time to help the thoughts go away. This song has always been my true cope. I'm so glad this version is out. I love it so much ❣️ I'll forever use this to help myself in a healthy way.

Who else gets chills whenever they listen to this? Only me?
I remember that when I first heard this song I was riding in a van and I was 12 at the time and like I didn't speak english back then so like I didn't know what the song was about and like I can only remember hearing the "nananan" part and I really liked it, but now that I'm older and having lived in Ireland for almost 7 years I can understand every word and I absolutely love it, this is one of the best songs ever created
This song is so much better slowed and with a bit of echo ~chefs kiss~ 👌
this brings me back to good times
I love this song sm I watch the whole video every time.

ah yay it blew up! lol
My mom made me and my little brother listen to this when i was like 9, it was so good, and still is.
When I was younger this was my favourite song by sam smith. Everytime i heard it i just was in my own world and vibed to it. Especially the "lalala" part
2:40 it's a very perfect❤✨
Unlike some of the people here I don’t listen to this when my parents argue (I mean I do when my dad comes round just to argue with my mom but he doesn’t come round much anymore, luckily he’s never lived with us so they don’t argue much), instead I put my earphones in and put it on full volume to block out the sound of my mom yelling at me from downstairs, saying that I’m lazy, weak, can’t be bothered, useless and that I’m wasting my future. Little does she know that I am fighting to stay alive and I starting to lose.
i feel the same way.
I can scream this song at the top of my lungs
i cant stop to hear it wow thats amazing !
i remember my mom playing this in the car on the way to school.
why is nobody talking about the hook line: “i can’t find your silver lining” it hits...
POV: your me here again after another fight with my dad cause this song is the only one that reminds me of my childhood and makes me feel okay about it
absolutely love this.
I remember when this la la appeared I asked my father if the singer had hiccups! It's been a long time. Since I can see how long I haven't heard this song anymore it hurts
WAIT COS I ALWAYS THOUGHT THESE WERE HICCUPS AS A KID AS WELL
