i know homeschool isn’t rlly an option, but it would be cool to see a cozy family home where the mom crafts and “homeschools” her teen and child and there is a dedicated room for schoolwork!
I think that homeschool should be a thing in sims4 i dont really like school in the game, i think it doesn’t really matter to me

@@joannakoter9159theres a mod by triplis that lets kids and teens quit school via an option on their phones, and you could roleplay homeschooling activities from there by having their parents mentor them in different skills

Fellow goth chiming in...my Tripp pants also upended desks! Except for art class, where we had high tables and stools. I would often stand and lean over those to work on my projects...until the day my new clearance pair of tripps and it turned out they had split down the butt seam.
I was wearing BRIGHT RED panties with black lace. No one said anything until the next class was coming in and I was trying to make a last adjustment.

The overhead projectors! Oh yeah; we still had those when I was in high school! They were on the ah out but my APUSH teacher insisted on using them still! Everyday!
love the highschool! also an idea for a limited pack build since halloween is coming up could be a haunted house using only the halloween/ spooky themed packs (so things like seasons, spooky day stuff, paranormal, etc) :)

in my highschool we had the standard, plain desks for 2 people. The only exception would be chemistry labs, where we'd have really long 'desks' for 4 people each, made out of like concreate-resembling material. Also there were 36 people in my class and there were other similarly large classes too, so all of the rooms in our highschool were much bigger than in the sims lol
The high school I work at has projectors that we connect computers to, but several rooms still have a pulldown screen to project on. My department chair is on the hunt for any more overhead projectors that should have been discarded something like a decade ago.
I was a huge fan of the chicken sandwich from the high school cafeteria. I crave it every once in a while. Chasing that high since 2007. 😂

This would've been a 10/10 but unfortunately I need to drop it down to a 9 simply because there was no trademark double cutting board! Even if it wouldn't make logical sense anywhere. ;)

Idk but I laughed so hard-
The high school I went to before I moved was so small that the middle school merged into the other half of the building. When my parents went to the school back in the early 90s (and it was only for high schoolers) they said there was a pool and come to find out the “middle school” gym was the former pool, but they filled it in so that they could have a small gym for the middle schoolers.
I love your school memories, I very much relate as a kid that wore Tripp pants 💜🖤💚 Also I remember those projectors, we had them in Elementary school and then by Jr. High they changed to smartboards.

I LOVED my grade school food! And when I got to high school we had different opinions. I enjoyed the high school food but on days they had something I didn’t like, we had a daily option of Subway…. There was another option every day but I can’t remember… every Wednesday, we had pizza hut and every other Tuesday we had taco bar or pasta bar!! ❤it was great! Shoot I even enjoyed the high school meat loaf 😅
I loved my high school food, it was more of a grill and you could order whatever you wanted. Awesome job with this huge build!

Im getting hsy for xmas and know i wanted to replace the school but didnt wanna build it, this is perfect. I wanted to keep the art deco vibe on the exterior.
My favorite lunch was a spicy chicken sandwich with ketchup, curly fries and a Twix. I was broke, so it was a treat for me occasionally.🔥

Definitely had the experience of those old projectors in school! I remember in high school, a lot of the classrooms either switched to having just large whiteboards (very few had a traditional chalkboard), and the smart boards started getting popular as I got older.

I loved most the food my high-schools had. I went to three different ones. Then again I was happy to have food. At the time we were struggling due to a few things.

omg the clear plastic projector things were so cool they got phased out by the time i was ending middle school for the smart boards but i always got excited when those came out lol

I had those same projectors with the clear plastic in elementary school, but I think after that we had regular white boards or smart boards. I had one class in college that had a professor who was ancient and he used that plastic projector thing though! I lowkey loved it 😂

I liked my school lunches fair enough! Though I'm from the UK. They used to occasionally serve mac n cheese (made with Penne, never actual macaroni) and if we had school inspectors from ofsted over, they used to put a single garnish of basil on it to make it look nicer.

I had to Google it too 😅 GSA previously stood for "Gay-Straight Alliance" and is supposedly a safe spot for students of all types to get along and hangout together without judgement or negativity.
I made mine into a mental health/therapy room where students can sit with a counselor and talk about stress. We had one in my old school and I didn't see one here, so I changed the rooms purpose while keeping the theme.
I'd be practical to have a no-window nurses office as well if you wanted.
I loveeee cheesy pasta sauces so I had carbonara most days for about 2 years at school. it was great
30:00 I just turned 20, but I remember using those in kindergarten, at least! We used dry-erase markers on them I think! In first or second grade they started installing those “smart board” things tho, and I don’t think I saw the clear cards again after those. Our school might have been a little behind other though
I love this build but I think I will struggle with it in terms of gameplay. Would you consider building a smaller school too please?

My high school had grades 5-12. Because of the fifth-graders, my school was declared as an elementary school. That meant we all had to be on an elementary school lunch menu. So I brought my lunch every day.
Actually, I work at a university and there is an old school projector there which is crazy! Apparently it still works.

I had the chicken sandwich with ketchup and Mayo basically every day. Sometimes with chips and sometimes just the sandwich.
If we ever get usable cars they are going to have to redo most of the maps alot of places don't have drivable areas. Unless thier going to do it the way they did it in Ts2. The old projectors I remember using those but I'm ancient.
I’m a lunch lady at a middle school now and I like the Asian chicken or the corn dogs .
my school didn't have lockers (besides small gym lockers for PE that were basically just drawers) so we had to carry our backpacks all day
I had 3 basketball courts in my gym and a work out room
i went to a religious private school my whole life but it was rly shitty and broke, so most of the public schools in the area ironically were much nicer and higher tech, so we never had smart boards at all ! we used chalkboards all through elementary, and then they started switching them out to whiteboards around when I was in middle school. we used those projectors the whole time, and then they started upgrading the projectors to slightly newer ones around the time that public schools were getting smart boards so we all felt a little cheated lmao
I used to get chicken nuggets almost every day in high school! The lunch lady would make them especially for me on the days we didn't serve them...lol
My high school had a pool (I never saw it the entire time I was there tho lol), but the community college I’m at now doesn’t have one
i know what the protector thing that u write on then smart boards came and a few years later those went out of style cuz they never worked right
