You are a very beautiful person and was so proud to see you win the GGR race. I love watching you and have told so many people about you. The rescue of Tapio and still were able to win the race. Says a lot. You are an amazing person and love to watch your videos. You are my hero. Thank you for being you.
We are so very proud of Kirsten's progress and accomplishments thus far; her fan base grows daily. Also: What a beautifully designed Spinnaker! There is a bit of Art Deco in that!
Super cool! I'd love to see her singlehanded spinnaker takedown especially once it gets a bit breezier. I think she does a letterbox drop, but I'd love to see how its done by a real pro! Tim - s/v Patience (CG 38)
I saw the vid where you cinched the sail up in place of a sock... notwithstanding don't really understand what is happening here and without a whisker pole... Anyway, fantastic sailing...
Not sure what device she is using to "snub" the spinnaker during hoisting , and most likely dousing. Neither a sleeve nor a sock, of which I'm aware, but rather segmented. What is this device? Thank you!
They look like some sort of "tie". If you go to 2:27 into video, you will see one breaking off. I haven't ever seen this and it would seem to me not to help in dropping the spinnaker, just hoisting. But, I may be wrong.

Beautiful! Fair Winds and Following Seas. ⛵
Beautiful to watch how it
Stabilises the boat
You go Girl ! We are rooting and tooting for you.
You such a energetic and blessed soul...!
You should write a book!
Navegue contigo por casi 5 minutos, fui muy muy feliz recordando nuestras caminatas por Ponta Delgada para encontrar lana 100%..... Gracias, te amo!!
Keep up Kristen...sending you good vibes....
That was pretty amazing and I have no idea about boating but I am inspired with Kirsten’s adventures and wish her great winds.
Awsome Kristin!!!

This is how it was done in my days...
Nice job Kirsten..
It's just rubber o rings or thelike. Doesn't help for dropping.
Looked like she had buttons sewed in or something.
Oh i saw it. She just had some lightweight string that could break. Never seen that done before.
Good promotion for sheep's wool, thank you.
Huge shame about putting rubbish into the sea ? Use a snuffer
Kirsten is using wool yarn.
