The only English-speaking country in SA, the culture, people, foods, etc. I like it that cricket is popular in Guyana (I became a fan through friends in St. Vincent and the Grenadines). Congrats on winning the cricket championship. I watched the matches on YT and really enjoyed the victory celebration.
I believe Guyana is 6° N, so I can understand it's very hot and humid. I live at 26° N here in FL, and our Summers are brutally hot and humid. It's late Fall now, so the humidity is lower. It's really only "cool/cold" Jan-Mar.
