I wish you did this video 3 months ago, before I joined 💔 I am crew living in accommodation almost in Sharjah and I hope I will manage to change it soon
Oh, girl, I know which accommodation you’re talking about - sorry you have to deal with that😔 Wishing you the best of luck in finding a new place soon. In the meantime, try making your room feel as homey as possible. Add some personal touches and decorations, even if it’s not ideal. I know it’s tough staying somewhere you don’t like, but having a cozy, familiar space to come back to can really help you feel less drained after those long flights 🙏
The timing depends on the availability at the Training College. If you indicate in your application that you’re ready to join as soon as possible, they can complete all the formalities within a week if they need it. During your Golden Call, they’ll confirm your Date of Joining, which is the date of your flight))
It is possible to take a live-out allowance, but you’ll need to either own an apartment in Dubai or have a close relative (like a spouse, parent, etc.) with UAE residency. If you don’t meet these criteria, you’ll need to live in company-provided accommodation or, if you prefer, you can rent a place at your own expense 😊
@@libbyjett3471 yeah, i watch her too. i remember her saying she has live out allowance but she still pays some out of her own pocket as the allowance cant cover the entire rent

Dear I have a question ❤ if I have an assessment day with emarites tomorrow but I will not be able to go ... Can I apply again in December or will it affect my application or will I be black listed ... What is the action that will be taken from their side?
Hey) I’m not a recruiter, so I can’t say for certain if this might affect anything in the future. If you’re able to contact Emirates or the third-party hiring company to reschedule your assessment day for December, that would be the best option. They definitely won’t blacklist you, but I’m not sure if it might affect getting an invitation to another assessment day. If it does, you can always try attending an Open Day instead, as no invitation is needed for that😊 Best of luck 🍀
When I arrived, I received an advance allowance that was half of my basic salary. At the end of my first month, instead of a full salary, I received half, as the advance was deducted. This system is designed to help newjoiners who may not have savings, so they don’t struggle financially during their initial period. Hope that makes sense 🥰
Hi! I have a question about accommodation. If I wanna live out with my mom and little sister, basically they will be my dependent, will emirates allow an allowance? They have no one except me, so I don’t want them to live afar from me. So is it possible for me to bring them in Dubai and live out with them? Will emirates provide me the allowance? Can you please give me an answer for this? I'm really looking forward. Thanks in advance.
You can ask for live-out allowance to live with your mum and sister, but they need to have UAE residency visa. You can apply for a sponsorship visa for your mum, but as far as I remember cabin crew salary is not enough for a sponsorship visa for parents (fine for a husband/wife). Also schools in Dubai are really expensive if you want your sister to attend school in Dubai.
@ Sadly moving is currently impossible, as stated in the mail l recived. It states accomodation is permanet. In case l get some days off around New Years, could you tell me easiest (and most affordable) way to get to the beach from this location?
Hi! I have a question about the accomodation . If you have a boyfriend and want to take him with you, is it allowed? How does the company help or proceed in these cases? It is normal that if we are sharing an apartment with 1 or 2 people that a boyfriend of mine will not be allowed, but does the company help in these cases? keep in mind that we are not married. And Is it really true that men are not allowed in those apartments?
He can stay in your apartment as a long-term visitor. However, if I’m not mistaken, there’s a limit of 2 months per year for all your long-term visitors combined. Each visit cannot exceed one month, and your flatmates will need to sign an agreement indicating they’re comfortable with you having a long-term visitor. It’s also allowed to have visitors of a different gender, as this rule was changed some time ago. However, your long-term visitor cannot hold UAE residency. Regarding living together permanently: your boyfriend won’t be allowed to live with you in crew accommodation. If he wants to move to Dubai and live with you, you would need to rent or purchase an apartment. Also, if you get married and he has a UAE-residency, you could apply for a live-out allowance.
@ there are many people who don’t want to live in crew accommodation)) but there are only two options for live out: buy an apartment in Dubai or live with a close relative who has a UAE visa (husband, parents, siblings) and rent an apartment. Minimum age is 21 years, maximum age to work in Emirates as a crew is 50. They do not put maximum age to join on the web, but practice shows that usually they hire up to 30 years
Hey there) I currently work in marketing and communications, while UA-cam and aviation are my passions on the side 😊 I do mention my social media in some videos descriptions, but I don’t post there often to be fair 😅
It depends on what you’re looking for 🤷♀️ Emirates based in Dubai, offers higher salaries and a broader range of destinations. Etihad based in Abu Dhabi, has slightly lower salaries and fewer destinations but atmosphere inside the company is slightly better. Plus, Etihad crew can purchase discounted business class tickets, while at Emirates, only pursers have access to those perks)) If your goal is to travel as many destinations as possible and safe money, I think Emirates is better. If you want to have better tickets discounts and more friendly work environment, then Etihad)
I can say that Etihad offers similar standards when it comes to accommodation. A friend of mine works there, and the buildings are new and located close to the airport, though a bit far from Abu Dhabi. But they provide shuttles to mall, the beach, and they can even use free Etihad bus service to Dubai, which is super nice))
