Hi , your comment regarding the common mode voltage is not accurate since when a common mode voltage is produced Vno , then a capacitive current flows through bearing of electrical machine that destroys it in time. in order to prevent it some more expensive bearing technology is necessary for example magnet bearing or other materials . Operation with common mode voltage damages the machine or creates more initial design cost to prevent it
