While they're both pen and ignore defense, Pen only ignores defense by a flat amount (if you have 10 Pen and the enemy has 1000 armor, you ignore 10 armor) while Pen Ratio % ignores based on a percentage (if you have 10 Pen Ratio % and the enemy has 1000 armor, you ignore 100 armor). Nice video tho will be pulling for her when she drops.
I think pen ratio is a very important stat since bosses in shiyu defence are very tanky....for example if im building ellen the 5th slot for the artifacts i would go for pen ratio% rather than going for ice damage bonus or ATK%. I think that the more defense is ignored the more damage u can deal or maybe im wrong?

Am gonna pull her because: 1. Very fast and fun gameplay. dancing around the battlefield while doing heavy damage is fun. Ive played her missions multiple time just to test her out and i just keep loving her more and more. 2. Future proof. Ether stun will make her broken since they can both daze enemy easily and build up anomaly for zhu yuen so she can do that massive burst damage. 3. She hot. She hot. 🥰
The last time a hoyo game had a Yuan character release as the second release, they became mid yuan very quickly, I won't let you youtubers trick me again!
I've saved up 160 pulls for Zhu Yuan, and with a few more days before her banner, I might be able to get even more, and I will pull for her w engine if I get her early. I'm really excited to partner her with Nicole!

Powercreeped or not, Ellen with Lyc and Soukaku will always be a goddamn strong team now and in the future as well. Zhu is awesome, but there's so much cons than pros. I forgot to mention Qingyi. I might skip anyone but Qingyi. I've got many DPS now I need a solid support/stunner. As for Miyabi, I'll definitely save for her but pulling for her depends on her role and element.

I love her playstyle but im kinda scared to attempt rolling for anyone until im the end game i think. Im scared theyre going to drop in ether resistant units or something.
How the endgame currently works is kinda like that. Not sure about the unstable nodes yet, gonna see if I can get there tomorrow. But, it's mainly focused on type weaknesses for now at least
there will always be units that resist to each type of element, or even physical. So don't worry too much about it as Hoyo will always "encourage" you to pull many teams for different situations
She has good stats, free crit rate and dmg. I'm not sure how fast you can generate shots without one extra copy of her. She might be less effective even with those good stats.
Since the crit is so high, it really felt like she was able to pump out the damage enough, even without m1. But it is true that m1 REALLY makes her that much better

Depends on a few things like your team comps! Either will get the job done, so it mainly will be who you like more! For instance if you have Lycaon, I'd probably go for Ellen!

Any stun you get should be a good sub. I got koleda in my first failed 50/50 so that is my stun for soldiers team, and I will be using Anby for Ellen's.
Grinded her mission a lot and I feel the bullet recharging is very clunky so won't be pulling for her. I will however do a couple of 10 pulls for nicole mindscapes, if i get her, so be it.
Suppressive state will be for however long you want it to be by holding down basic attack button. You can activate it at any time, but will last until you release it! (Hope that makes sense)!
Hi, i lost the 50-50 on ellen banner and had to grind 81 pulls to get her guarantee- best ways to get polychromes are 1) grind the mewmew medals, gives 10 polychromes each 2) usually the mewmew medal quests give you EXP as well which helps to unlock more of the story = more polychrome 3) linked to the mewmew medals, make sure to go around all of the maps every morning, afternoon, and late night as different quests and commissions appear 4) grind the trust ranks 5) shiyu defense and hollows also give polychromes, for hollow zero i always pick the new augments just so i collect more for the polychromes from Ray 6) make sure to grind your EXP because these unlock the video archive missions and more of the story (after the Ch3 story you get Lycaon and Rina video archives) Hope this helps!
There's actually no need to walk around all the maps to check for Trust events and side quests. When scrolling through your destinations, it'll show if there are any available events/quests in the area at that time. Just go through the list and if you see a blue "!" or a agents icon, go there and repeat for any time of the day.

Ben definitely does better with koleda, but he is actually v good if you're using him right in the fire team. Nicole is already a solid support, and gets way better with ZYs release
I'm on guaranteed since I just lost to Grace last time. However, I'm still confused about who should I use my guarantee for. I do have Lycaon and Shoukaku, and pulling for Ellen might be the best choice in this case. But I also have Rina and Grace, so I'm thinking of pairing Zhu Yuan with them.
The best team imo right now is Ellen, Soukaku, and Lycaon. I REALLLLY want lycaon to make it happen, but if you already have him, I would say Ellen tbh
Honestly she's not that broken, I believe future DPS like Ellen with "better" and more "convenient" methods to RECHARGE "bullet/elemental attack modifier" will powercreep her. Ellen is an excellent welcoming DPS because she can infuse ICE attacks with 100% uptime, short and simple while Zhu Yuan requires more complicated mechanic to "RECHARGE" one bullet at a time, which is MEH in my opinion in a fast pacing combat style game, this ain't genshin impact where you can perfectly proc character mechanic, it's chaotic most of the time especially during crowded group of enemies.

The engine will be better in the long run! Talent 1 makes it so she can get way more shotshells back. I personally am going for engine first!

1.1 Qingyi is actually 5star limited stun (electric). She actually pretty op as Lycaon replacement.

Ice mark iirc is just a sort of buff forgetting ice resonia (in those respective modes). It gives lots of powerful effects depending on which you get

What did I mess up, I thought 'Yuan' made the 'Yoo en' sound like our favorite general from HSR
I'm on guaranteed since I just lost to Grace last time. However, I'm still confused about who should I use my guarantee for. I do have Lycaon and Shoukaku, and pulling for Ellen might be the best choice in this case. But I also have Rina and Grace, so I'm thinking of pairing Zhu Yuan with them.
The best team imo right now is Ellen, Soukaku, and Lycaon. I REALLLLY want lycaon to make it happen, but if you already have him, I would say Ellen tbh

Honestly she's not that broken, I believe future DPS like Ellen with "better" and more "convenient" methods to RECHARGE "bullet/elemental attack modifier" will powercreep her. Ellen is an excellent welcoming DPS because she can infuse ICE attacks with 100% uptime, short and simple while Zhu Yuan requires more complicated mechanic to "RECHARGE" one bullet at a time, which is MEH in my opinion in a fast pacing combat style game, this ain't genshin impact where you can perfectly proc character mechanic, it's chaotic most of the time especially during crowded group of enemies.
Gotta keep in mind that ZY isn't even at her max potential yet either! As more units and the meta shifts she will get even better
She is kinda gonna get carried by Nicole on release. But she'll be better later with more characters for her actual element
